New:
Hello I have another complaint for Tim Hortons 696 and groesbeck. Ever since my last complaint they have been purposely messing up my order. Most days I just trash the coffee and keep going about my day. Well I’m tired of wasting money. I come to Tim Hortons a lot and never have problems. Just this location as of recently. This morning the store mgr made my coffee and put vanilla instead of hazelnut. Two different distinct tastes. I asked the lady at the window can I taste before purchasing because it hasn’t been right and I don’t want to have to come back. She said ok but still swiped my card anyway. When I got it I tasted vanilla, which is what she rung up on the screen. The store mgr then walked to the window and said that she made it and showed the hazelnut bottle. So I ended up coming in asking for a refund. She rolls her eyes and says we didn’t have hazelnut. We’re out sorry. I said it’s ok I just want a refund. She says we can’t do refunds for u anymore. I’m like why not I’m unsatisfied and tired of wasting money. I paid and I’m not drinking the coffee so why no refund. She then said that I’m becoming rude. I asked how am I being rude by asking for a refund? She then says just stop coming here. As if it’s always a problem. She was the one being rude. I was avoiding conflict by just asking for a refund. Didn’t want to keep getting remakes. She started raising her voice at me so mine started to raise back. I’m always polite. She stated that herself. But now all of a sudden I’m rude. She lied about putting vanilla in. At first at the window she said she put hazelnut in but when I came in she said they were out of hazelnut n asked what is she supposed to do. I just wanted a refund and she said no refund for me. This is the second refund I have ever gotten at Tim Hortons in 15 years. Now I have to stay away from the most convenient location near my travels all because they decided to lie about what’s in my coffee. What if I was allergic to vanilla?! This is absurd. I also visit other locations but this one was my main one. Never had a problem until the last incident of employee lying on me. And the store mgr was very apologetic until she made the mistake. And yelling at me around customers and workers is crazy. How is she the owner?! She finally did the refund but told me just stay away. Lately their coffee has been either burnt tasting or taste like old mop water. This is not the Tim Hortons way that I have been aware of since I started drinking Tim Hortons. If you look at the reviews for this location you will see many complaints of the food and coffee being bad. Now usually I don’t have a problem with their coffee it’s just been the last couple of months for me.
Old: I’ve been a customer of this location for almost 10 years. It was my favorite location. But then they hired the rudest worker I have ever encountered. She is always in a bad mood. She always getting into it with customers. She cuts u off while speaking at the speaker. She talks to ppl with no respect. She constantly rolls her eyes. Yells at employees in front of customers. Get orders wrong then catch a major attitude when you ask to fix it. She also doesn’t know how to accept Tim Hortons coupons. She’s not good at her job but her attitude is she runs the place. Everyone else who works there is great. She just need to go and all will be well again. The crazy part is I think she’s a shift leader. Meanwhile it’s a great worker out there looking for a job while she’s occupying a spot she...
Read moreI am editing my review at 9:40 a.m. the same day. I decided to drive back there with the food that I showed to throw out in their building. They replaced the croissant in the croissant was still hard. The hash brown still dry and still I said well can I replace the hash brown with a donut she told me just this once because it's a upcharge I got a plain donut it was hard as a brick. And I was told it's hard like that because it's cold in there. It's safe to say I'll never return to this Tim Hortons again If this is their version of fresh food absolutely not.
But the customer service was excellent very polite and considerate other than that does Tim Hortons is trash for their food.
As I write this review it is about 9:15 a.m. November 21st 2024 and I just pulled into work and I'm not able to leave and take my food back.
And it perplexes me that the customer service was on point and everything else straight zero.
This was the WORST food I've ever had from a Tim Hortons, and I love me some Tim Hortons.
I got the bacon egg and cheese croissant meal.
My bread is stale and hard and cold on one side along with the cheese and egg being cold, oddly but the other side of bread is warm along with the bacon. Go figure.
The hash brown old and stale and lukewarm.
I'm at work hungry need to get my medicine in my system So I've taken two bites and it's in the trash.
I wanted to take the food back when I got off however I cannot find my receipt in the bag because they did not give me one conveniently. Because I would have definitely pulled up after work with their food and got my money back. And I still feel like I deserve a refund Mill was almost $9 because I got a triple triple extra large coffee with it. Thankfully they got the coffee right.
I find it disgusting to serve stale warm cold food especially when you have dairy on it I didn't eat any of the egg for fear I would get sick.
This is the Tim Hortons off of groesbeck in the corner of 696.
I will NEVER be back to that location.
I will continue to go to the one that I should have went to in the FIRST place on 9 Mile in eastpointe. They consistently have fresh flaky croissants the egg is hot the cheese is hot the bacon is hot and the hash brown is fresh and not dry. Keep up the good work eastpoint location.
I would love for a manager or somebody from corporate to reach out to me refund my money in a gift card or put it back on my credit card. I don't care how they do it but I know they won't and it don't matter cuz I'm not going back to that Tim Hortons again.
If you don't want to do right by your customers you shouldn't be in the food...
Read moreUpdate! My colleague called after I did and spoke to someone different, she took her prepaid order over the phone. Everything was great this morning when I picked up the order. She even helped carry out my order. So for this part of my experience I upgraded my review from 1 star to 3. If I had this service yesterday I would’ve left 5 stars. Just sad of the original hassle I went through and the damage one employee can cause to a business.
Original: Tried to call in an order for 12 dozen donuts (prepaid) for the next day, only to be told to order on the app or drive up when I need them at 6:30am. (Close to prime rush hour) I tried the app, I could only add 9 dozen but had to remove some because it exceeds the app $100 limit. I would think with a large order of such that you would like to be prepared and make sure that you have enough product to accommodate for the day. I called back after the app incident and asked to speak with the manager, he said they weren’t there but there’s a supervisor, I asked to speak with them to see if they will accommodate a prepaid order of such. He said I am the the supervisor, I asked aren’t you the one I just spoke with about the prepaid 12 dozen order, he said yes. He said there’s nothing he can do. I have never had an issue ordering, prepaid in advance at this location. I said I’ll take my business elsewhere, thank you. I wouldn’t trust they would have enough stock for an order of that size and I would want to know that I’m getting what I paid for and go. Not waiting on them and them scrambling because they’re not prepared. They need to educate their...
