Title: Hidden Gem for Local Food Enthusiasts - Hardware Cafe Delights!

Review: Hardware Cafe is a hidden gem in our community, offering some of the best local food experiences I've had. Tucked away from the bustling streets, this quaint cafe exudes charm and warmth from the moment you step in.

The menu at Hardware Cafe boasts a delightful array of locally sourced ingredients crafted into mouthwatering dishes that celebrate the essence of our region. From hearty breakfast options to savory lunches and delectable pastries, every bite is a testament to the chef's dedication to quality and flavor.

What sets Hardware Cafe apart is not just the delicious food, but also the inviting atmosphere and friendly service. The staff here go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and valued, adding a personal touch to the dining experience.

Whether you're craving a hearty brunch with friends or a cozy dinner for two, Hardware Cafe is the perfect destination. I've had the pleasure of enjoying several meals here, and each time, I leave with a satisfied palate and a contented spirit.

If you're a local food enthusiast or simply someone in search of authentic flavors and genuine hospitality, I highly recommend paying a visit to Hardware Cafe. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. It's a culinary journey worth savoring time...

The only reason this isn't a 1-star is because of the location. This restaurant has some WACKY methods. When you sit down for breakfast, be prepared to be looked at 20-25 times with no acknowledgement you're even there. Not a "hello" or a "welcome in!". Nothing. You may wait about 10-15 mins. After that, expect the "cook" to not be able to make an egg to order. For instance, if you want over easy, too bad! The cook is incapable of making eggs any other way than over hard or scrambled. 👏 After all is said and done, expect to be disappointed with the owners as you are overcharged while you admire the gorgeous old building it's located in. Or, save your $ and don't be disappointed at all! Edited to a 1 star review after the owner responded negatively by pointing out the fact that there's a sign in their store. I can read Rachel! Now, on the eggs to order you are a liar. I did call. No such ordinance or compliance against cooking eggs to any specific condition 🤔 where you come up with this to look good on Google? I have no idea! You are the epitome of terrible...

First time here and got to say it was somewhat enjoyable. I liked the decorations and that old time feeling you get when you walk in. I got the feeling of being in an old grocery store when I first entered. It wasn't until I noticed the huge black boards with all the specific sandwiches that it looked like a resteraunt. I settled on the tuna sandwich and I felt an old chocolate shake would be nice. The shake came first and it was thick. It was so thick I thought it was a frosty. The straw only bent when trying to get through. I later found out after getting a spoon that there were two lids on my shake which hampered me enjoying it. The sandwich was good and I discovered it came with chips. The bathroom was clean and appeared to be kept in order. I appreciate it when there is paper towels to use so no grabbing the handle from those who don't wash their hands. I definitely will return when I get a chance. Make sure to give them a try but check...

All the charm of a small town, but an incredible menu that rivals big city sandwich shops. I think it's really great that this century old hardware store was converted into this incredible restaurant. I really like that all of the dishes are named after hardware tools. To top off the ambiance here, they had the Andy Griffith show on a constant stream on the TV at lunch. On the old hardware shelves they have a lot of local products for sale, including coffees and teas. They have new specials every day and specials on Friday and Saturdays. Great homemade food. Better than moms. Try their homemade desserts...you will thank me. They have a really good Reuben that they call the Hammer, and a pastrami sandwich, that will make you want more, they call the Lure. Great service to boot. I will definitely be back to work my way through the tool chest of sandwiches.

Hardware Cafe is a great addition to Warrenton! It has a unique, industrial vibe that's both modern and unique. The staff was super friendly and attentive, even though they were busy. Lunch is our favorite meal to get here, and their menu specials change from week to week which makes each experience fresh and interesting! Because they are often so busy it would likely be a bit too loud to try and do computer work/paperwork in the space but it's a great place to catch-up with friends or grab a quick bite while heading through town! Overall, we highly recommend Hardware Cafe if you're looking for a tasty and fun lunch time dining experience in Warrenton. We will definitely be back!

Neat place. Not sure how it has such good ratings. The food was absolute garbage. if you have any taste buds this isn’t it. I fasted and was starving. I literally threw my entire plate away. That’s how bad it was!!!!! Soggy bread, cheap pastrami that tasted like rubber, soggy beat up pickles and I thought I was getting fresh fried chips. They were bag potato chips. Saukerkraut and was barley there. Cheap plastic wrap tasting cheese. Disappointing meal after I ordered the tuna and they didn’t have it. The store itself is neat but seems like they don’t have proper ventilation and it was full of smoke. Hard pass!
