Tokyo Asian buffet — Restaurant in Wartburg

I stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. This is a small restaurant in a very small town so I wasnt expecting much.

As they say - you never know until you try it. So we ventured in.

Food was very good. Service was well done - as much as you get with a buffet anyway. I will hasten to add that the wait staff on the floor were attentive and did a great job of keeping our drinks filled. (Big points from me always if they keep my drink going! They DID!)

Also, keep in mind that for a buffet, "service" encompasses the buffet line and attention to refilling and refreshing the chafing trays. The staff kept a close eye on that as well. Also paid attention to keeping the line and steam trays clean. More points!

If you go, try the hot and sour soup. About the best I've had on a buffet line.

These were the kindest people I have ever met and our server treated our daughter like an actual human being (most people who work in restaurants over look her and don’t even offer a high chair). He even asked us if she wanted sprite, which most people look at is like we’re crazy to get her a drink (which was even better because she’s almost 2 and we don’t do caffeine for her… parents will understand). They kept the place and the tables cleaned and maintained. Their food was absolutely amazing. They didn’t have a big variety, but it didn’t matter to us because they had everything we liked.
