Cornerstone Pizzeria — Restaurant in Washington Township

I wanted to like this place so badly because the woman here is so sweet. But I'm not only upset but appalled by how terrible the service was, the food, and the price. The soda was gross. We ordered two entrees and after another (yelp) review my sister and I thought it came with the meal only for her to charge us $13.50 for this salad. (That we never asked for by the way) I also ordered garlic knots expecting six but she brought out 12. No problem she didn't ask and maybe I didn't clarify. The penne vodka was absolutely not all it was cracked up to be. And to make matters worse our drinks were empty long before we finished eating and the lady spent about 10 mins talking to a couple at the bar not checking in on us once. We asked the counter guy for to go boxes and to clear our check. He gave us the boxes and said the lady would close the check... we only waited about 5 more minutes for their convo to wrap up. I'm beyond mad and upset that this whole experience ran me $80.

The worst part was knowing it’s a small business and looked run down. I was going to tip $20 no matter what. But i really feel like i was conned and upcharged...

This place was not even on the Pizza Hunters App list for the day, but we are glad that we had the chance to stop. Ronaldo was an amazing host, even took the time to bring 2 slices of pizza to the car. He was worried that if the plate from one slice touched the other it would ruin his slice. Wow. Talk about Pizza Pride. Well his slice really delivered. Hot, fresh slice with a delicious sauce and crust. The cheese to sauce ratio was perfect. This used to be one of our favorite local restaurants. But our experience this past weekend was not good. We ordered our favorite dishes and it was not as good and the portions were much smaller. Then when we got our bill, the prices were more expensive than the menu. When we pointed this out, we were told - sorry but everything is more expensive than it used to be . Also there was something on our bill that we did not order. The menu was a simple paper printed sheet and easily could have been updated.
