ANTHEM Coffee & Tea | Sunrise Medical Campus — Restaurant in Washington

I have to tell you that I can't praise Anthem Coffee and Tea at the Sunrise Medical Center. If you're driving from 122nd street towards Meridian, the location is halfway down on the left hand side. I had my adopted son take me there after a doctors appointment. He loves a double shot of expresso. He was absolutely please on how good it was without the burn taste you get at Starbucks. He had a breakfast burrito and was extremely satisfied. I had my usual strawberry/mango smoothie and the "Live Loud" breakfast sandwich. There is a burrito but the sandwich is my favorite. I meant to take a photo but devoured it when I realized I didn't take a photo! I suggest you go and try one and give me some feedback. Now my trio had an employee change. What was Emily, Cathy and Kim is now Madison, Cathy and Kim! Ashley moved on to new adventures in Missouri! Good luck Ashley! Stop in and say," hi" to Madison. These are the most friendliest people behind the counter. There is plenty of room for storyline with the little ones, study groups for the college scene, Bible study groups or just a place to go and unwind. Let them know Papa...

My son went into the Sunrise location to get us coffee about 2 weeks ago. He was dressed nice, good looking, polite, personable and a driver for UPS. He was in the store for 10 minutes, it was not very busy, plenty of workers and NOT ONE ACKNOWLEDGED HIM so we left. We both try to support local businesses but frankly Starbucks, which is not a favorite knows what customer service means whereas Anthem needs to do some serious training. I conduct lots of coffee meetings with clients but Anthem is off my list of places to meet. My standard line to people and business that provide zero or poor customer service is"you must have all the business you need" and walk out. Be better, do better. Hire people that actually like people. UPDATE: THERE IS NO UPDATE. APPARENTLY, THEY HAVE ALL THE BUSINESS THEY NEED AND WON'T BE...

This place is amazing. First off, the staff makes you feel welcome when you enter the building. Additionally, they all seem to enjoy their job, which is hard to find these days. Lastly, they have the best customer service I have seen in a while.

I have been looking for a coffee shop that is close to the house and not Starbucks. This place is so awesome that I can see myself taking my laptop there or a book, getting a cup of coffee and just relaxing after a busy day.

I know that is is just the soft launch, but if they are this amazing now, I cannot wait to see what this place has to offer once it is fully up...
