Artic Pub & RV Park — Restaurant in Washington

It was the weirdest nightmare ever! Went in to get food and have a drink while waiting for it. We sat at bar my husband ordered a bottle beer and I asked for a B52 and knowing some bartenders are unfamiliar with it so I told her what was in it. She gave my husband his beer and went to other end of bar where two women and a guy were sitting and started talking then whispering behind hands (like I cared what they were saying lol) then the bartender came back and got our food order so I told her I can order something different to make it easier she responded that it was okay they could handle it. Then one of the women that was sitting on customer side of bar went behind the bar like she was gonna make the drink she got as far as putting a bottle of kreamora in front of her then next thing we knew she and the other lady went passed us and out back door while the bartender was preparing food then they came in and out the front door the one woman was acting really weird I finally just decided to wait in the car since I was not going to be served and our food was to go anyway. Once I came out to the car the woman the bartender was consulting with went back in the bar and approached my husband asking him what he would like he told her he would like his food he ordered and was waiting on. Then she asked him what he would like to order. At this point he was fed up with it he appeared in the door and hot in the car upset because he had been there once before and food was good but apparently this one person was not around it seemed the bartender was in training I’m not sure I went back in the bar to at the very least pay for the beer he drank and hopefully get the food At this point both the bartender and this woman were back against the wall were they prepare food and she was doing something with the food as well One of the men that was sitting at the bar told me I should just leave unfortunately there was the deal with the beer my husband drank had to be paid for Finally the woman comes up to the bar with bag of food and she and the bartender were doing something saying they had to get their tills counted up or something all I wanted was to pay my bill Apparently that was too difficult to happen so I told her how about I just pay for the beer She still was having problems with that so I handed her a twenty she said the beer was 4.50 and I wait as she is still struggling with some kind of hand held thing so I ask her if she wants me to help her I could telll her how much change is coming back So she finally opens a cash drawer and hands me back 19.50 I gave her back the 4.50 and chalked the extra 50 cents up to escape fee and got out of there The guy kept calling one of the women Tatiana This was on a Sunday night after 9 pm last weekend and it was like a scene from deliverance or some bad 70s drug movie dunno what she was on but if that’s what is considered appropriate customer service than no thanks no way It’s a shame we eat out a lot abd we’re looking for place to get what my husband had brought home his first time going there I guess they don’t need customers Oh well Such a...

Pub is closed but RV PARK IS OPEN. Great place at a great price if you don't mind the distance to everything. Halfway between Aberdeen and Raymond. Big sites with mature trees, full hookups, nice people, good showers. You will get pine needles all over everything outside. Propane available. Only one washer/dryer though, so be prepared to wait and/or get other people's smelly scent-boosters on your clothes even if you use scent-free. Simply a must visit location for those looking for a taste of what America used to be. The freshly smoked meat products are amongst the best you will ever encounter... but it is the rich tapestry of history shared by a staff of storybook like characters that will warm your heart for hours after leaving.
