Brewed Awakenings Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Washington

I stopped by this place to pick up coffee beans since I was trying to try somewhere else. It's a big, roomy place. I got there about 15 minutes before closing. I initially didn't see where the beans were so I asked one of the people working there after standing around for a few minutes looking lost and not getting any help. They pointed behind the counter to 4 big glass jars with the beans in them. Not air tight, just kinda there jars. No problem I figure, I asked for a pound and the person goes and gets them. I see that they have more of a menu than just coffee. They have root beer floats. So I ask for one. The person states, sorry, we haven't had those in quite a while since the soda machine broke. Which I then notice it sitting behind the counter in the back to the left. Not too neatly stashed. I also notice one of the cabinet doors is falling off and hanging on by a thread. I just kinda shrug that off and go to pay. Well, the register in the front is already shut down for the night. So she has to go to the back to ring it up. Back and forth she goes. I realize that I got there close to closing, but don't you think the register up front would be the last one to check out? Maybe that's just me. This place seems to be not well run and the upkeep doesn't appear to be there. My first impression is that I won't be going back. Not to mention, the beans were really dried out. I always thought you were supposed to store those in an air...

I love the environment of this place. Lots of cozy spots to sit. Plenty of room and tables large and small. I also like the staff. Nice people. However, they really need to fix their internet. I wasted a half an hour or more here trying to get on their internet only to find out it was not working and “it goes out a lot”. I was told to “wait 20 min and see if it comes back on”. It did not. I felt bad for the staff having to field my questions. And it clearly was not their first time addressing internet concerns. I would have stayed and ordered a sandwich if only I could get the internet to work. Now I have to pick up and find a new place to send a couple emails and probably spend money buying another drink! A waste of my time and money. I hope they fix the internet at this place to be reliable for both their patrons and...

This is Now my Absolute Favorite place for all kinds of coffee, mocha's, Chai (YUMMY), Pastries & So Many drinks and things I Have to Try!!! My wife had mentioned this place to me a while ago (newly relocated in December of 2023) and we finally did! My daughter and I tried at the drive thru a little bit ago & We HAD to Come Back!! This time, we went inside to look at things closer! The atmosphere was so Nice, relaxing and Felt Right! Their Hand Made Pastries are to die for! Their drinks... I cannot Stop thinking About them!!! I Have to come back for the Best Chai tea latte' that I have Ever had!
