To preface, we already had Mexican food the last two days before this, so having it 3 days in a row speaks volumes about our Cady’s experience. This was our 2nd time here (after an hour of Tulips just as it started to rain). Cady’s Cocina has really stepped it from our last visit 4 years ago! The ingredients were so fresh, accompanied by clean, bold flavors. The enchilada sauce had a really nice roasted chipotle flavor. We used the extra tortillas to scoop up the enchilada sauce 🤤. The chicken quesadillas were perfectly tender and cheesy inside, with that nice flaky crunch outside. Love the super cute and flavorful carnita tacos. The pollo asado was on point with a little spicy kick. All the accompaniments were of perfect proportion and presentation (ie. the lovely flower sour cream atop a slice of avocado, tomato on a bed of lettuce with radishes). This has now become one of our favorite spots whenever we make it out this way. Oh, and to top it off… they make their own tortillas. Homemade tortillas, need I say more? Delicioso.

Wow! My best friend and I have been searching for the perfect middle location restaurant for years! I live in Whatcom country and she lives in Snohomish County. We decided that Mt. Vernon was the middle ground but where would we go for our meet ups?!? Well…we found it! We are going to Cady’s from now on! Prices were reasonable! We got birria de res en consume and carne asada tacos. The homemade corn tortillas for the birria was as big as my face. And I have a large face!Probably the best restaurant birria that I’ve ever had and the tacos were perfection! There was ample parking and a wide selection of drinks! I could not recommend this place enough!

So I stopped here because we needed motor oil. The last time I was there, it was a small grocery market. Now it sure seems to be just a restaurant... But my daughter was hungry, so we ordered food. The cost of the food is what got me. What in the world? The gordita was $7!!!!! Go to sabores or to the World Market before here! I tried most of the meats? Carne asada, lengua, pollo, tripa ec. Also I confirmed their rice and beans were made fresh daily. He guaranteed yes it was. Review...Beans were ok...rice...no flavor. Wait staff underwhelming, to say the least. Again, drive a few miles down and u got the best of the best Mon-Sun.

I was curious enough to finally stop in one night on my way home from work to give this restaurant a try. I have to be very careful about what I can eat anymore, including Mexican food. Surprised by the straight forward meal I was served keeps me coming back, including bringing others in to try it out too. When I commented how wholesome their food is without being spicy and made to order really impressed me. They said they have to cook that way for a special member in their family, who can't do spicy food either.

I love their family atmosphere as well. Their booths and tables are uniquely established inside part of their grocery store catering not only to locals and tourists, but especially to the Hispanic population that live and work here in Skagit County.

Highly recommended and you can get your meal to go. You will be pleased at the diversity of the menu too. They don't serve chips but you won't need them, you will get filled up with plenty of food.

My favorite is three chicken and cilantro street tacos with rice and beans and a salad of shredded lettuce, avocado, a tomato, radishes and sour cream. They give you lime wedges too to enhance the flavors.

Their prices are as competive as other Mexican restaurants in the Valley, you pay about the same for similar menu items. . So it's very...

Regular for 3 years, never coming back again.. Horrible customer service. I called in a order for pick up. When my friend picked up the food There was a minor miscommunication (she doesn’t speak Spanish) and she accidentally picked up the wrong order. She went back and even stated that she didn’t need a refund, that she just wants to pay for the food we ordered. She apologized and mentioned that she doesn’t know Spanish. The owner than asked her. “How do you say sopes then?” She replied “Sopes?..” he then said “it sounds like you do know spanish”.. so uncalled for. He then said she’s wasting food, and proceeded to angrily throw away the order she had accidentally picked up. Unprofessional and rude. He told her not to come again but after that tantrum, we will never...
