Dairy Queen Grill & Chill South Hill — Restaurant in Washington

I come here all the time because it’s relatively cheap if I get the meal deal and it’s close to my home. However, it irks me that I order on the app for the sole purpose of not having to wait, however there is no separate line for mobile orders - you either have to wait in the long drive-thru line or you have to stand in the long line inside - and almost without fail they haven’t even started my order until I arrive and I tell them I have a mobile order. I keep hinting about the notion of having a special line or pickup spot for mobile orders, but it apparently doesn’t compute since nothing is ever done about it. So I wait typically 15 minutes to arrive from the time I place my mobile order and then sometimes upwards of a half hour once I arrive in store. Dairy Queen, do better. You need more than just kids running this place. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone that looks over 18 working here and I could have this place running more efficiently in one day if given the chance. They’re mostly polite kids but they just lack the life experience, organizational skills and sense of urgency needed to make going DQ even a slightly pleasurable experience. 45 minutes from start to finish - and mind you I live about 3 minutes away - to get a simple cheeseburger meal is unacceptable. My back hurts from standing and waiting...

I have no idea why anyone would leave a negative review for this location! We drive almost 30 min all the way across town....we live way up North and won't go to any other Dairy Queen in town. The DQ on 57th is the cleanest and friendliest we've been to! We always get excellent service and hot, delicious food here! Their 2 for $5 Super Snack menu is the best deal! and their ranch is to die for. Everyone who has ever waited on us has gone above and beyond. When we ordered a hot fudge sundae and wanted it at the end of our meal they accidentally brought it out too early. Without hesitation they took it back and brought us a newly made sundae at the end of our meal. We are always greeted with a smile and thanked for coming in as we leave. Tables, floor and everything in the lobby and drink station are always impeccably clean! We won't go to places with rude, incompetent workers-- or anywhere that has awful food. We are extremely picky and if we get bad service, bad food, or feel like we aren't getting quality product for what we pay....we don't go back! DQ on 57th is NOT one of those places! We highly recommend!! Sadly, no photos....the food is always brought out so hot and delicious we can't...

If I could give zero stars I would. I went to Dairy Queen the gentleman charged my card seven times I took a manager 10 minutes to try to reverse the charges I still have to wait 45 days for the charges to be reversed and for the $470 to go back into my account. My food was cold the ice cream is melting all over my, The manager Cami seems believe the whole thing is funny refused to replace my food and or Ice cream and failed to apologize. To add insult to injury instead of deleting six of the charges and leaving the one, they reversed all seven and the charges and then charged the card again leaving my account with over 500 less. I asked for the phone number of an owner or a general manager or district manager. she Cami (no name tag) said she was the general manager so I asked for the phone number of the district manager or owner. She wrote the number to that Dairy Queen down and when I called they didn’t answer, the phone. One of the 3 Chicken certain else only had 3 strips.
