Jubilee Burgers — Restaurant in Washington

Been going there because the foods great for the price, but today we experienced the most disrespectful worker there who would not give us his name. I don’t know if he racially profiled my husband who isn’t white, but first off I’m disabled and parked behind the burger trailer. When this worker pulled up to park he waived us off to get out of his spot- there is NO designated parking & I have disabled plates. He could’ve just politely asked us to move, but no. Then this guy joined the other gentleman who took our order (we tipped big time to him) to finish our order. When my husband after 10 mins had went to check in out of respect, that same guy said it is disrespectful to ask if your food is ready. We buy and support this place and we are treated so rudely?! WTH?! He wouldn’t give his name- said none of your business. Honestly, we love supporting small business and local, but to get treated so poorly because someone is having a bad day is no excuse. I asked for the “double combo” I then asked for fresh unions instead of grilled onions. I then asked for mayo instead of house sauce. I asked if the burger came with pickles. I was told no, I said “oh good I don’t want pickles”

When I receive my food I went to the bench tables to eat. I discovered the burger had both grilled and fresh onions. I went back to them and held up the burger and mentioned the presence of both onion types.

Both young men began immediately arguing and accusing me of asking for both onions. I said calmly, “It’s not the end of the world” I just want what I ordered. It got worse, they began yelling how I said both over and over. I’ve never been so attacked by restaurant staff in my life.

It was okay.

I ordered a double (meal), a single (meal) and then an extra single burger with two extra orders of fries. I was told that he accidentally made an extra burger, but was giving it to me free, neat! Was about to walk away until I realized I should make sure he included the extra two fries I ordered and paid for. Nope, whoops, so he added those.

Turns out I didn't get a double burger, just four single burgers. Okay.

The burgers were lacking a good solid meaty taste. They were thin meat patties so that may be why. The fries were good but there were mostly short pieces that were hard to dip. Still tasty, though. Good mix of toppings but now I'm realizing I can't remember tasting grilled onions and I'm pretty sure they're supposed to come with grilled onions?
