Ledo Pizza — Restaurant in Washington

Ordered online for DELIVERY, the system automatically had a Carryout time. I called up there and they told me I could only get delivery if I called to order, but that only means I wouldn’t have been able to receive my points for this order. Usually when I do order, I order a lot. THEN, I get there to pick my order up, I didn’t receive my drink so I called when I got home. They asked if i could come all the way back just for a drink and i had to go back and forth with the lady to just receive a note saying they owe me a drink EVEN AFTER I stated to her that I am a regular customer and purchase food regularly from this establishment. All I went through previously, I shouldn’t have had to argue about a drink that I PAID FOR and NEVER RECEIVED. They could just be more considerate and accommodating. Ledo pizza is my favorite in the city so I was so excited when I learned they were opening on East Capitol. I ordered a pizza online for dinner on the day before thanksgiving and when I arrived to pick it up, it was fresh and ready for me. At the time, it was a woman and a young man at the front but the young man was helping me. My order was ready on time so he grabbed it for me and then opened it up to show me and asked me if it looked good!! I really appreciated that level of service. The pizza was delicious per usual. I really love the square crust with the slightly sweet sauce. So damn good.

*Definitely be careful stepping down as you leave the front door though. Although there are several signs about the awkward step, you can still get got if you know what I mean.

Pizza was cooked in a dirty pan. I know this because there was greasy black crud which transferred from the bottom of the crust to my hand, and it is all across the bottom of the whole pie and worse at the corners. The crust isn’t even close to burned so the crud means the pan was probably used several times until it eventually transfers off into the food. Tasted it immediately.
