I have a strange story.
I have a catrgory of pins on Google maps of all the places I want to eat food at, all of which are in towns where I live or will live. All of them.
So, many years ago I noticed another pin. In a non-major city in a part of pennsylvaniaI in which I have never set foot.
The restaurant is has a 4+ star rating on Google and yelp and a decent number of reviews but nothing that would make anyone stop and go, ok let's drive out there to check it out if they didint already live in the arwa
I don't know when I put it there, I don't know why. But alas it was there, my only guess is that i read some reddit thread a long time ago that inspired me to pin this place.
Anywho, i was moving down to Florida for school and lo and behold, this was a short detour so curiosity got thr best of me and I tried it!
It was gooooood :D just what I needed for my 22+hr journey. Also everyone greeted me like they knew who I was. It was awesome....and kind of spooky.
Update; I always find my way back here as I'm commuting between wv and Canada.... Every single time I'm always pleasantly surprised.
Today I got the sub and I really was sleeping on it - it was very good, staff, as always was very polite despite it being...
Read moreEvery time we come through Washington, PA to take the boys to Bethany College. We HAVE TO STOP 🛑 and order their pizza, subs, fries etc. To top it off, the food is delicious. Everything I’ve tried from there is delicious. And the people are awesome, all of them.Totally friendly, nice and very, professional. They go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. All of the time, not just some of the time. Their food is so good that I was able to warm my sub up hours later when we got home and it still tasted good.👍🏾
Picture this, in Baltimore City if I was to order 2 half of subs. That would cost me in some places over $20 or close to it. At Osso’s pizza and subs, we got 2 whole subs and 1 order of fries for $18. I can’t wait for the boys to start back to school. 🏫 We just picked them up yesterday for their summer break. Just make a mental note 📝 to yourself. When or if you ever come through, make sure you bring cash so you too can enjoy their delicious...

In the years since the pizza is hit or miss. We bought it yesterday Saturday, June 3, 2023. What a disappointment! The dough was horrible. Soft, old, not crisp. My husband said the dough looked dark. Being an experienced baker I know what old dough looks like and so does he. Dark and wet. We bought 12 pieces, extra sauce, cheese and pepperoni. Eight of those are being dumped today. Tried to heat in hot oven, no crisp. I can’t eat pizza like that. This has been going on for several years now, I had to write a review and quit hoping it will be different next time. My son who stops there once on a while even said it is hit or miss. So sorry seeing the hard work of Mr. Osso for so many years going down the tubes. If a family member still owns Osso’s,...
