River City Pizza — Restaurant in Washington

CHANGE OF HEART SINCE THIS WAS FIRST POSTED...SEE THE UPDATE BELOW. What a wonderful new find! We love this place and will tell our family and neighbors to give them a try. We tried them for the first time on Friday night and absolutely loved everything about the experience. Easiest and best delivery service we've experienced in years. Easiest online ordering system that was, in fact, so easy that I thought I must be doing something wrong...nothing could be this easy! Ordering Delivery! And it came exactly as ordered, on time almost to the minute, and one of the best pizzas we've ever had. You bet we'll continue to go here...a lot more often, too. What a wonderful, positive experience. Keep up the great work! One more reason we're so happy...we're in Liberty Lake which is the next little town away and they still deliver! Yea for us!

UPDATE: We ordered another wonderful pizza today...and it was wonderful. HOWEVER, they left off 3 toppings we ordered. We didn't get the items we paid for, and are not happy. We paid for Olives, Garlic and Tomato Slices, but got none of them. Huge disappointment that I see by previous reviews, has also been the experience for others. So sad. We may give them one more try, but if we keep getting charged for things we don't get, I guess we'll have to tell our new, formerly favorite...

Very disappointing to say, the pizza was great, the service was far from it. We ordered online, a pizza with garlic crust and cheesy bread. We didn't get any marinara with our cheesy bread, fine no big deal. Well then I realized the crust was not garlic crust, which you get charged for , so I called to let them know. When I called a nice younger lady answered and I told her why I was calling. She put me on hold, than a young man got on the phone he was so very rude from the get go. He answered and said "what's the problem?" I explained that we didn't get any marinara with our cheesey bread and we did not get garlic crust. He was very defensive and raised his voice saying "I made that pizza I know there is garlic crust! If you can't taste it then that's your problem!" At that point I didn't know what to say. All I could say was "I didn't need you to be rude to me. We will be taking our pizza business else where." And he said "fine bye!" I was not looking for a free pizza or anything like that. I would have been 100% satisfied if the reimbursed the $2+ charge for the garlic bread. I was so dissatisfied with the way this was handled. There was no need for him to be so rude. Pizza is okay Everyone is genuinely nice when I come to pick up orders. Mostly enjoy the ranch and breadsticks most of all, which is what makes me sad to make a low review, but I can't be silent about it any longer.

Every single time I order and pick up at this location, NO one, and I do mean NO ONE is ever wearing food safety gloves. ( I have watched pizzas being made with glove-free hands ) I truly hope hands are being washed, but considering it is mostly ever teens and young adults working there, I doubt it's policed much. What pushed me to write this today, was when I cam by around 3:45 pm to pick up an order, and found the only worker in sight around where the food was being kept, mouth full and chewing from I'm assuming a quick snack. No gloves, handed me my order, and I promptly left feeling uncomfortable. I am not sure what food safety standards are expected with smaller pizza chains, but I would hope it would be held to the same standards as corporations such as Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc. When it came to food safety.
