Scotty Browns BLI — Restaurant in Washington

Here's the thing you need to know about Scotty Brown's: it's good. It's not cheap. It's your only option in the airport. And the prices are what you'd expect to pay at any decent airport restaurant/bar. If you're used to the low prices you find around Bellingham at other restaurants/bars, you might be in for a little sticker shock. But if you remember you're in an airport, and doing business in an airport carries a lot of extra costs for the restaurant, the prices are pretty average. It's on par with what you'd expect to pay for a meal and a beverage at SeaTac .

The breakfast burrito is excellent, and the coffee...

The Baja Tacos were excellent and my husband and daughter completely enjoyed their burger and veggie burger. Our server was lovely and the Caesars were good. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is that they charged $9 for 2 coffees... Plain coffee, not a cappuccino or latte and not large. Our server was embarrassed to give us the bill for those coffees..poor thing. I can understand $11.50 Caesars but not $4.50 coffees... Would definitely eat there again next time we are flying out but just won't order...

This is my usual stop for a Bloody Mary on my way out-of-town. Get the double, you will not be disappointed. It is spicy and garnished with pickled green beans. The bartenders are very inviting and will usually fill your water if you ask. They always ensure that I get my bill timely, though we all know that rushing to the gate here is not usually an issue. Food can be a little pricey but better than what you will get on the flight if you haven't already packed...
