Starbucks — Restaurant in Washington

I have gone through this location a few times. More often than not my order has been wrong. The "customer services" has been below par. There are a few window ladies that do an amazing job but, some of the other employees seem more interested in talking to coworkers than telling me the cost of my order or a greet at the window. The coffee is ok but, does not measure to the Starbucks brand and it tastes much different. Try a cup you'll see for yourself!

Today I ordered two grande Americans with a Carmel drizzle. When the drizzle wasn't added I asked for the Carmel to be added after all I did pay extra for it ;-). The guy at the window just turned and asked the barista to add the Carmel. She shook her head and continued to poor drizzle in a cup and simply pored the coffee into the new cup. When it was handed back to me Carmel was all over the side and gooped my fingers and hand. When I asked for a napkin or a new cup there was no apology or acknowledgment that there was even a error. He was too busy taking someone else's order. He handed me a cup and napkins..I very disappointedly drove off.

This is not the first time I have had this type of service. Last time I ordered a grande passion tea no simple syrup, add 5 Splenda. Instead I was given a passion mango, with simple syrup and the Splenda. It was disgusting. When I brought it to the supervisors attention she informed me that day they ran out of passion tea. She comped my drink for that day and apologized. So she tried to make it right and I am thankful for that.

It's a pretty new, clean Starbucks. It gets busy in the drive-thru during peak ferry times as people are heading into Kingston to catch the ferry. They make any coffee drink you request just like you request it in regards to type of milk or soy, flavored syrup, temp., stirred or not, as many shots of espresso you want to pay for, foam or not whipped cream or not, cold coffee blended or just on ice drinks all flavored up if you like. Then they also have "no coffee" drinks like hot chocolate smoothies, tea (hot or cold). Their food is awesome to me. A bit pricey, but sometimes it's really worth it and fast. Some of the wraps seem pretty healthy as they only use egg whites in one I know for sure. They have both hot & cold...

Sat in the drive though for a very long time, parked and went in to order. Told the lady at the counter about it ( I understand things happen and at this point it was a novel anomaly as this branch is usually very good) the lady at the counter couldn't have dismissed my comment that there was a issue in the drive through fast enough. She didn't even check check to see it was working as i was waiting... Starbucks sells a experience more than it sells coffee, this experience is not commensurate with what i can...
