I am thrilled to share my 5-star review of The TapRoom at Bayview Corner on Whidbey Island. My recent visit to this charming restaurant left me thoroughly impressed with the delicious food, excellent customer service, and overall fantastic dining experience.

First and foremost, the food at The TapRoom was absolutely amazing. I had the pleasure of trying both the green curry mussels and the ale mussels, and both dishes were bursting with flavor. The mussels were cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with their respective sauces and garlic bread. I also enjoyed the bacon potato salad, which was the perfect accompaniment to the mussels. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

In addition to the delicious food, the customer service at The TapRoom was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel welcome. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure that every aspect of my dining experience was top-notch.

The atmosphere at The TapRoom was also a highlight of my visit. The restaurant has a cozy, rustic feel, with wooden tables and charming decor that perfectly complements the island's laid-back vibe. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family.

Overall, my experience at The TapRoom at Bayview Corner was exceptional, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Whidbey Island. With its delicious food, excellent customer service, and charming atmosphere, The TapRoom is a true gem and a must-visit for anyone looking for a top-notch...

I’ve been here about 10-15 times over the past few years. As a local, I hate giving such a poor review. But I think people should know my honest review. First, avoid this place like the plague if you actually have problems with gluten. They’re one of these places that labels items β€œgluten free” but clearly still uses the same equipment to make the food, or they have horrible cross contamination guidelines. I get sick every single time. On top of that, they have the audacity to charge $9-$10 for a 10 ounce CIDER! Nothing special. If you can drink beer, you’ll find normal prices. But if you have gluten intolerance, you’ll be paying $18 (plus tax and the 20-25% tip they force on you) for a measly 20 ounces of cider. Jesus. Their food is subpar. And their service? Get real. I’ve been there so many times and not ONCE have I been remembered by any of the staff. They ID me every single time and act like they’ve never seen me before, even though I’ve had many long conversations with them over the years. Meanwhile, other locals come in that I’ve regularly seen there and chatted with, they all get greeted by name as they walk in.. Every time I leave there, I have a sour taste in my mouth and feeling in my stomach. If you want to spend $100+ on 20 ounces of cider for you and your friend, as well as one very small and slapped together meal each, go ahead! My advice, don’t waste the $50 per person where everyone else serves 16 ounce ciders for $8-$9 and typically, if they label things GF, they...

My husband and I went here during an incredibly busy weekend, so this review is with a grain of salt. There were 2 people on service for a beyond full restaurant. One person seated us, and the other server angrily asked us why we had seated ourselves and rolled their eyes at us+their counterpart for having seated us. We had been standing in the rain so we appreciated being seated even if there was still going to be a wait for service. The original staff member was clearly very busy but polite, the second was borderline angry at us for choosing to eat there (we wouldn't have if any of the other places we went weren't quoting a 2hr wait). However, they did honestly apologize and it was obvious they were over worked and stressed out that day. The food was very quick and delicious, perfectly cooked and put together, and the server started making jokes and calming down as they checked on us. The menu has a selection of fancied-up pub meals. It's a neat restaurant with lots of wall decor and a great variety on the tap list. I may be back to try it again and hopefully bump...

I recently opened a Better Homes and Gardens McKenzie Realty office in Bayview and after taking my sister and brother-in-law down to see it as they were visiting from out of town, we decided to go grab a bit to eat and a beer as every time I drive by this place it is full of people and I kept meaning to stop by to check it out. Having said that, we met Francesca who owns the place and waited on us. Not only was she super friendly and cool, the place had a great vibe and the food was great. I also liked that she had serval non-alcoholic beers to pick from! Great place and worth the visit for sure and I will definitely be back! Actually I did go back with my wife and had another fantastic meal and great service at our now special table/spot!!

Fairly good food overall, and cozy interior. The Buffalo wings were really good, esp in ranch. The best things were definitely the burgers with very crispy tater tots and dipping sauce! The salad was okay, chicken was pretty tough and on the dry side. The mussels we got were getting cold and they were tough and a bit overcooked. Also not sure if their ventilation system was broken, but it was very smoky inside the entire time. Lots of dry eyes all around. The waitress was nice to open the front door sometimes but it would smoke up in moments after closing again and felt pretty stuffy. My parents who are regulars said the mussels are usually better so maybe we just got a little unlucky today...?
