The Clubhouse Restaurant at Alderbrook — Restaurant in Washington

So thankful for life's detours! We were staying at the Alderbrook Lodge for a couples retreat recently. Long story short: The restaurant at the lodge was booked solid for dinner so we were forced to go elsewhere. Enter the Clubhouse just up the hill at the Alderbrook Golf course. Excellence in every respect! The food was light and literally BURSTING with Flavor! Pricing was amazing, especially in light of the exceptional dishes! I've been to many restaurants offering less food, less tasty, and less service for more money. I have no doubt whatsoever, that our night was FAR BETTER off than had there been an opening in the Lodge restaurant. I actually found this place on accident thinking of the Alderbrook down the hill but I'm so glad I did! This had one of the most breathtaking views I've ever seen. When I showed up they took a while to get to me but they were slammed at that moment. Once seated we were attended to quite well. $250 Dinner, great server, good food,...totally watered drinks. Fire the lousy bar tender or whomever is in charge of the bar. For the public willing to pay the price, a water bar/bar is ridiculous,...come-on management, I live over here,... we don't need to boycott...
