Way to ruin our Valentines Day Dinner. Came in as a walk in around 445. Hostes most plesent woman slender elder lady with short silver hair. She said no reservations it probably won't happen but here let me give you a buzzer and go play a bit and see what we can do. Went and played for about a hour than the buzzer went off. Very pleasant hostes again sat us at a table in the bar area. Male Waiter / bartender came and took our oder. 1 prime rib medium well and a ribeye medium rare. Well sitting there talking enjoying each other's company and some folks sat down beside us at a table and than behind us. They had a waitress that offered items that weren't on the menu that our waiter did not even mention such as appatizers. Well sitting twittling out thumbs patiently waiting on our food the people beside us who ordered after us were served thier meal. Did not think much of it as maybe theirs were ordered rare and able to be prepared faster. Than about 10 min past and the people behind us were served who came in after the othe rgroup. It's well into 30 min past when we ordered our food. Finally bar tender / waiter brings meal to the table presentation of food looked as though it had been sitting for a bit like no juices on the meat. And just stagnet if that makes sense. Cut the prime rib took a bite it was not even warm. Put our hand on it and completely cold to the touch asked waited to take it back and he said he would warm it ???? Questioning what that meant as he walked away about 5 min later he returns with the prime rib at this time it was still cold said they put it in the anju sauce and warmed it he said he would take it back again at this time my baked potatoe that I put butter on still had the butter not melting so touched the potatoe and as to be expected they was not even warm I asked the wiated for the check he said he could heat them up I or reorder them I said and wait another 3 hours he promptly like a smart a$$ responded it's only been 38 minutes and said well if your not taking it to go don't worry about the ticket. We got up and left went and told the hostest about the experience and I said what he was going to warm it in the microwave and she said they don't have a microwave in the kitchen at all.. well I said thanks for the wait and the bad eclxperience ended up at Mexican restaurant in Sequim. Needless to say horrible experience horrible customer service. Not worth the price and serve on paper napkins at that cost. And sorry if you can't bar tend and wait tables than...
Read moreUpdate: we stopped in one day for lunch and got bacon wrapped shrimp, which tasted like straight salt. But the burger was good. Flash forward. We stop for lunch and our son ordered 2 really great items. Seared scallop canapes and rosemary roasted chicken. Both were beautiful and both were done to perfection. I got the beef pot pie. It was ok, but they didn't use real pie crust, just set a pastry flake disc on top, which was tough and unfriendly. I tried to use the French bread on the side to eat with my pot pie, but it tasted charred but not crunchy and was cold. But my son's dishes were so excellent we went back for a date night. Ordered scallop risotto and a steak. Steak was cooked perfectly. The vegetable side looked NOTHING like my son's, the plate looked empty and dull. The risotto was thick. It tasted like Kraft Mac and Cheese (sorry, Kraft). We ate the scallops and then made a sculpture with the risotto. They only charged us for the scallops and apologized. That's nice and all, but this really comes down to consistency. There is none. So I guess that's in keeping with a casino theme- roll the dice and take your chances!
We went just for dessert. The hostess was lovely and the waiter nice enough. We were going to get an appetizer but remembered how salty their food was the last time we lunched there. Another Downside: I ordered a berry pie with ice cream. The pie was not heated at all, was actually cold from being in the fridge. It was nothing spectacular, but certainly could have been helped along by heating it. And apparently presentation is not high on their list, as there were berry drippings around the edge and down the side. I think if it were seen more as "cafeteria food" and not advertised as swank it would help with some of the disappointment. We just have to remember it's...
Read moreWe took our family here for dinner while everyone was in town visiting back in May of 2019.
We made a reservation because we weren’t sure if it would be busy, especially for a party of 12 on a Friday night.
The waitress was very patient with everyone, and our water glasses were always full. All of our food came at the same time, so we were all able to eat together.
The cocktails were good and they sneak up on you… well at least they did for me.
I don’t remember what everyone got, but I do remember everyone enjoying their meal! I remember getting the Cedar Salmon, and I loved it. The salmon was cooked perfectly. My husband got a sandwich which was delicious.
The second time we came here it was Christmas Eve of 2019.
I didn’t feel like cooking, so we went here on a whim hoping they were open and able to get a table. To our surprise they seated us right away. It was definitely busy, but service didn’t slack at all.
We started our night with some Christmas themed cocktails. I think mine was called the Grinch. I’m not one for minty drinks, but the name sounded cute so I gave it a try. It was good, but it was really strong. I didn’t finish it only because I couldn’t get past the strong taste. I also didn’t want to be that person complaining about a drink that I ordered and there was a chance I wouldn’t like it.
For an appetizer, we got the Oysters Rockefeller. They were good! A little too toasty, but good. I got the Prime Rib with a baked potato and I added scallops. I believe my husband ordered the Ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes and he added scallops as well. Both meals were cooked perfectly. We had no complaints and left with...
