My parents took me here to celebrate my birthday. Our server was super awesome, patient and attentive to my table. The food was very delicious I had the chicken pot pie. I will say I was so happy that it wasn't Salty. As a chef myself I tend to leave out the adding of salt for the simple fact that everyone has different palates. So a pinch could be to much to one than another. Best to leave that to the person eating it. My son had I believe the classic burger with cheese&bacon he absolutely devoured it. He said it was super juicy he couldn't believe it! My father had the beef potpie ate every last bit so I'd say he enjoyed it. My mother I am not to sure what she had but it was a salad with shrimp, avocado, boiled egg. I had to have desert they had key lime tart and I LOVE key lime 🤣. It was just yumm!! Not only are their deserts made in house their food is delicious the scenery is also very nice and peaceful if your eating outside. That would probably be my suggestion unless it's not super packed. The only down side is it was extremely loud, but it was only table specific and a little busy when we sat down. Which honestly isn't a big deal but it did get a bit overwhelming for my ears as well as my son as we're both hyper sensitive to noises. I would still come back here to enjoy their amazing menu

The White Horse is a country pub and restaurant with beautiful views of the river. I love that they made it look like an English pub. The menu also seems to be European inspired. From pot pie, Shepard's pie, bangers and mash, to French onion soup. The menu was lovely with a wide selection to choose from and the prices were pretty affordable. Inside, it looked historic which I love; there are apparently some historic artifacts as well. Parking can be tight but we were able to find a spot no problem. We decided to sit out on the patio; to my surprise there was a river back there. It was on the cooler May side but a sweater solved any coldness we had. I started off with a sangria and I really enjoyed it so I had two of those. Then a French onion soup which was delightful. My sons had Mac and cheese and that was ooey gooey good. There was a slight mishap, I ordered a chicken pot pie but a Shepard's pie came out; they rectified that quickly and gave me a sangria on the house. The pot pie was delicious; I love how flaky the crust was and it melted in my mouth. There were ample amount of chicken. The server we was polite and attentive. With the great views, drinks, service, and food, this place deserved 5 stars and I can't wait to go back.

I came here on a Monday with two others to try out their lunch after seeing such adorable pictures of the place online. We got there at 1:30pm and I was so surprised to see they had a wait time of over an hour for a table of 3! Luckily there was space at the bar and we sat there to get lunch. The menu is really large and they have a lot of options for even just the lunch menu. We ended up getting a panini, a veggie burger and a cobb salad as well as some glasses of wine. The service was extremely slow. Our bartender was very nice, however we weren't checked on often and it took over an hour for us to get our food. Considering what we ordered I was really surprised at how long it took. Honestly I think our order may have been lost. The food itself was good, however the panini had definitely been sitting in a window because it was a bit cold by the time we got it. It also took a very long time for someone to take our check. I understand staffing is probably hard at this time but being checked on even once or twice would have been good. Overall it was really cute inside, just keep in mind if you visit it could take a long time.

During my recent visit to the White Horse Country Club, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional dining experience that awaited me. The location of the restaurant by a river with a waterfall was breathtaking and added to the overall calming atmosphere. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the friendly staff who made us feel welcome and comfortable. The decor of the restaurant was elegant, with a touch of rustic charm that added to the cozy ambiance. The fireplaces provided a comfortable warmth, making it a great place to unwind and relax with friends and family. As for the food, it was simply scrumptious. The menu featured a wide variety of delicious dishes, and each one was beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed the perfectly cooked hamburger, which was juicy and flavorful. Despite the high quality of the food and the atmosphere, I found the prices to be reasonable, making it an excellent value for money. Overall, the dining experience at the White Horse Country Club was exceptional, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and inviting atmosphere with great food. Thank you guys.

We got there at 4:45 for our reservation! I highly recommend making a reservation as this is a very popular restaurant and there are many reasons why! For appetizers we had the french onion soup and the brussel sprouts with chorizo. Very yummy! We ordered the pub steak with an array of different potato fries as well as the strip which was cooked to perfection (rare!) and served with an amazing ajus, blue cheese sauce and horseradish on the side. The food is delicious! It is very noisy especially on Friday night after Thanksgiving! The artifacts are incredible! I highly recommend you checking out the website so that when you get there, you know what to look for! Considering that every table was full with parties of eight plus, the service was as good as could be expected! Ben was our server. His recommendations were excellent and he was very attentive and accommodating. We sat at a table next to the fireplace underneath the 200-year-old lion from the Borgia Palace. Look for the signed Picasso as you're leaving the "Lions Den"!

Excellent! Started out with the roast duck poutine - savory onion gravy, melty cheese, those fabulous fries, and tender duck breast. Best poutine we've had - and we've had great poutine - but the duck takes it over the top! The peach sangria was summer in a glass, and their homemade iced tea was very good as well. We both had the special burger, ground in house with three cuts of beef, seared and medium rare. That incredible outer crust held within it tender flavorful beef - oh my! Mine was topped with pulled pork, bbq sauce, and onion rings. My date had the bacon cheese burger on a brioche bun. Fries were done to perfection, a combination of steak fries and sweet potato. The restaurant itself was charmingly decorated, with plenty of seating in the bar, the main dining room, and a lovely outdoor deck overlooking the stream behind it. Service was outstanding, and we were seated promptly. Without question, we will be back. After a day out hiking or rappelling, this is the place to relax and recharge!
