Adding current menu pics as of 6.19.25. food is better than ever. Prices are a bit but reasonable. The chicken Alfredo fry bread was delicious and reminded me of if you ate a roti os styled crust but better. It wasn't the best fry bread, but it was still really damn good....... Great prices for the food. The burger dip had a similar taste to that of a fair burger. Simple but massive in size. The biscuits and gravy was pretty good. The trick with this place is that all the food is simple but done well. It's not like eating at Denny's, it is much better. Had the chicken fried steak dinner meal. You could tell that although nothing amazing, the chicken noodle soup was made there, the green beans were given bacon and onions in what tasted like home made. It's stuff like this that always saves a place as long as the meal isn't rushed and seasoned. Which they seem to do enough of to suffice. Bloody Mary was decent, the liquor drinks (yes they serve drinks in the restaurant area, but be irritated to pay upfront instead of keeping a tab going) I will be back to try more. It's special in many ways to me been living down the street for about 40 years now. I remember when it was a different place before the restaurant, bar, new smoke shop, before the cigar bar. Back when the store was where the restaurant now is. Wow long time a go. But I had the pleasure of having breakfast there with a friend, it was a little different as you order your food before being seated, the menu has been blown up to 4 ft. by 4 ft. Pieces of wall art. Hung on the wall by the door, with a generous font that can be read from across the room with the right eyesight which I don't have so I have to stand a bit closer. It's kind of intimidating and just has hard to decide what to order as a regular menu. Once order is place and payed for they seat you at a clean well lit table and depending on how busy it is the staff comes by to ask what is needed to help with your selection of food to be eaten once served they even offer flavored creamer for your coffee. Great atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. Refreshing considering most eateries are about profit, speed, and effective almost serviceable customer...

Went in to order, made an order but realized I had to change it because I was a little short. Asked if he could give me a minute to re look at the menu. He didn’t say anything, so I had my friend order.

When my friend stepped up to order he gave me a dirty look and said “so you’re not going to order?”

I said I needed a minute. He proceeded to jumble under his breath and then, in front of me, talked rudely about me to his coworker who also gave me a nasty look when he said I cancelled my order.

When another coworker went to hand me a soda, because she hadn’t realized I cancelled my order, he snapped and said, “ don’t give her that.” And then sneered at me. He was severely unprofessional and was complaining about his kitchen staff in front of everyone and bad mouthing right where people could hear him.

All the staff were talking bad about other customers who had ordered online, complaining about peoples orders.
