Wine Loves Chocolate — Restaurant in Washington

I have been to this store many times.. this past Saturday will be my last! I went in because i was feeling down and needed some chocolate and wine in my life.. the Girl who was there was super friendly and we shared a chat while i was deciding what i would like to take home to make me feel better. I chose a 25$ bottle of white desert wine and picked out 6 pieces of chocolate for 15$ tell me why my 40$ worth of merchandise turned into 62$ charge on my card... i called that monday and left a message for the owner to please call me back so I could understand why the charges were 20$+ over my purchase .. no call back! I have always taken my friends here and treated them to tastings at 20$ a pop as well as purchase chocolates for them on their birthdays and when friends from out of town come I have taken and treated them here as well.. my money will never be spent here again as I dont do business with a business that not only would over charge me (basically steal my money) but a owner that wouldn't even care about a local (who has spent alot of money here over the past 4 years ) to call them back! We are in the middle of wine country and I have no problem taking my hard earned money right...

Really enjoyed the chocolates when I visited last, so much so I kept them in mind to send as gift in the future. Wanted to send a couple orders to family for Mother's day coming up. The website to order multiple orders is tedious as you have to click into each truffle individually and it to your cart go back to the main menu then click back into a different truffle. Also clicking into a truffle that's looks good only to find it's sold out after you click into it. (They need a setup like crumbl cookie app honestly) . At any rate, I tried calling for help over the phone and just wanted to place an order of three boxes of random assortment, I didn't really care which kind, just throw 16 in a box and go. Nope, no help there, the lady who answered the phone sounded like I was crazy for even calling for asking and was redirected to order online and no explanation on why they don't do phone orders. That's fine, I'll just go somewhere, where people are happy to get business. I guess they are doing well if they are turning away orders. Very...

The chocolates were okay. Unfortunately, the lady at the counter refused to take a 10% discount card that was given to us at the Little Washington Winery for buying 2 bottles of wine. She said we could use it next time. When I asked "how do you know next time is "next time", she said "bc we handed it to you". It didn't make any sense. We spent an lot of money in the store. My friend had a card too, and she had to explain to her twice that she got the card for buying 2 bottles of wine and that she wanted to use it, before the lady said "okay I'll give it to you".
