McDonald's — Restaurant in Waskom

COMPLAINT! We stopped at a McDonalds off the I-20 service road at the Texas border connected to an Exxon. Address is 510 North I-20 East Waskom, TX 75692. It took 30 minutes for the staff to prepare our order. We placed our order at 8:04am on a Saturday morning. Our order consisted of: 2 McGriddle meals with hash brown and orange juices One pancake and sausage platter One big breakfast with hotcakes 2 sides of eggs, 1 side of sausage, 1 side hash brown and a juice box. From the receipt time stamp, to the food being placed into my possession. When I told them it had been 25 minutes, they immediately began to be rude to me. And it still took another 5 minutes more. For a fast food restaurant, this is unacceptable. My family of 5 could have easily gone to IHOP, Dennys, Waffle House, etc and have gotten our order faster. When we did not have enough utensils and I had to go back to the counter, one employee turned to the other and with an attitude said, Can you go see what she wants? Another gentleman waiting had placed an online order for a coffee, 2 sandwiches and 2 hasbrowns. He didnt get his food (or even his coffee) for at least another 5 minutes after we received ours and had arrived at the same time we did. As we were leaving, a gentleman from the drive thru had to come in to check on his order as well. He had been asked to pull up and wait for his order and had been parked there in his truck for quite some time. Several other customers were also waiting for their food after us and those gentlemen. Other families and customers turned away and went somewhere else when they saw the number of waiting customers. Not once did these employees communicate kindly or apologetically. Instead, seemed to blame the order I placed for my family of 5 as the big order that took food delivery to a standstill. If we had not already paid, I would have gone across the street to...

I only wish I could give this place a 0 star. Working in the area for last several months. This mcdonalds is a gas station attachment. Stopped by at 10:55pm on way back to jobsite. I saw people and cars so I stopped in as I was desperately craving a McDonalds Cocacola. All I wanted was a freakin drink. Pull around drive thru and there was a car waiting at window. Menu board was blank. Did not say they were closed. I was immediately pinned in by another lady behind me and could not go anywhere. Wait 15 minutes until 1110 pm. Talking to my son on the phone. A hand finally pops out the window and hands 4 bags of food and 3 unhappy meals to these people blocking me in the drive thru. I pull up and this girl is boarding up the window for the night and I insist she talk to me. She pulls down the barricade and rudely says they are closed. I said all I want is a drink and I could have paid exact change. She says they already closed the register and did not care I sat pinned in their drive thru for 15 minutes, held hostage, even though it was 5 minutes before they closed when I arrived. The way she looked and treated me I felt discriminated against. I work with about 50 men on a project(s) in the area. I will not spend 1 more red cent at your restaurant, and I have told as many people that will listen what happened. Waskom mcdonalds, you dont care about people, you wont get business. Old staff Very nice staff, and order was perfect. Today waited almost 10 minutes for my order when I was at the window they asked me to pull forward. I looked at her. She goes. We’re waiting on hashbrowns. I pulled forward. Waited another five minutes. The car second behind me received their order so I got out of my car walked inside. Lady looked at me and I told her I was waiting on my order. Another employee comments sarcastically from two minutes ago and I responded no ma’am it’s been longer than two minutes. The lady at the window comes and asked about the order she gets it because it’s just setting off to the side And their comment was had to cook the hash brown.
