Park Pizza — Restaurant in Waterbury

(Local Guide & Essential Personal across the United States of America 🇺🇸🇵🇷.) I have been eating here since 2007; their food and service doesn't miss. I always pick my food up and sometimes eat inside if I am out and about with a friend or family member (I speak as someone who doesn't request delivery, which can be a terrible idea no matter the establishment). Disclaimers: As someone who has traveled around the USA, a lot of times people with accents can sound rude, but that's because of the English barrier and not because the person is actually rude. If you think you've heard rude, try ordering food in New Jersey --- people can be so direct and loud you would think their picking a fight, but their actually hanging out. Prices & Food is good, I highly recommend.

CONS: When night fall hits, just remember your in the more "ghetto side" of Waterbury. People may behave a bit more aggressive than usual as a front (or defense mechanism) to appear tough. If you enter during night time and vibes among customers are negative, you're better off leaving and ordering else where (Not out of safety, but rather to protect your energy from negative vibes. Sad to say that I am extremely displeased with the experience I had ordering from Park Pizza this evening. I have been a big fan of this pizza spot for many years and usually order at least twice a month. Although the food is usually excellent, the customer service tonight was horrendous. I called this evening to order some dinner and the gentleman (if I should even call him that) immediately answered with a really nasty attitude. This continued throughout the interaction. I wanted to order a sub and some pasta for my family and after each item I was given a really agitated response of "Are you done?!?" I have NEVER had a poor experience dealing with this company before so I was quite shocked by how this person was talking to me on the phone. I'm not sure what was going on at the restaurant at the time that had this man so upset but either way I was trying to be polite as long as I could. He abruptly and rudely placed me on hold in the middle of taking my card number. When he came back and overheard me complaining about how rude he was he tried to escalate the issue as if I had initiated the aggressive tone instead of apologizing for his behavior. Literally used to order from here once a week until today. As soon as the lady answered I thought I had dialed the wrong number, she sounded unpleasant, like she needed a cigarette break, basically someone I wouldn’t want around my food being handled. Anyways, got our food and immediately noticed the wings didn’t appear how they usually come when I order them. Trusting the pizza place I made my #1 choice in the area we tried them and didn’t like them, they were tasteless and appeared as if they had been re-cooked. So I called and expressed this to them. They didn’t care, assured me they were fresh, told me to come down after I had clearly ordered delivery, and said if I had eaten some I was pretty much S.O.L . In my fridge sat an order of wings from the same pizzeria exactly a week old untouched because it was my birthday and a busy week. Those wings in my fridge appeared more appetizing than the wings deliver to me today and I explained that and they still would not hear me out as a faithful customer. In the photo the top order of wings are a week old and bottom are today ordered the same way. “8 piece BBQ wings extra crispy”. They have always come like the top order and that is what I expected to...
