China Max Restaurant — Restaurant in Waterford Township

My family ordered from here the other day to celebrate our sons birthday. I ordered the chicken and broccoli combination platter with white rice. The egg roll was good, a little greasy, but they usually are everywhere anyway. I liked the chicken and broccoli sauce was good, broccoli was cooked just right but the chicken was soft and a little mushy. I find that happens at a few restaurants. I prefer the chicken have more of a firmer texture. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. We were surprised to see there was an entree in the bag labeled free on the container. They gave us a free platter of general tso's chicken. We spent about $50 for 6 platters, and was given one free. My husband ate the free platter for lunch the next day. We will be ordering from here again...

Update 2020- have been going to them since i gave them another chance. The food is constantly good! I didn’t realize this has not been updated so I felt the need to. Prices are good as well.

Looks like the second restaurant in Atco this place has good crab rangoons ordered my usual General Tso's chicken and beef lo mein well I didn't get General Tso's chicken what I got was sweet and sour chicken that they tried to cover it up as General Tso's chicken it's like they started making sweet and sour realized that wasn't the order and then tried to cover it up very disappointed I wanted to take it back and complain but honestly I didn't feel like it definitely will not go back...

The only thing that was good was the “Crab Rangoons”! The “Egg Rolls”, “Shrimp Rolls” and “Shrimp With Lobster Sauce” were all just “ok”! Even though the shrimp were very small in the “Shrimp With Lobster Sauce” at least that meal was tasty! The “Grandfather Shrimp”, “Wonton Soup” and “Fried Wontons” were “terrible”! The “Grandfather Shrimp” was all breading and it tasted terrible! It has to be the worst I’ve ever had! The “Fried Wontons” and the “Wonton Soup’s” pork tasted weird and the “Fried Wontons” were very greasy! I wouldn’t have minded spending $125.00 if the food was good! A lesson learned I won’t be ordering from here again! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS...
