Klever Kreation — Restaurant in Waterford Township

I've ordered a few times from here over the years and although their cakes taste amazing I'm quite disappointed with how my last order went. I ordered my son's graduation party cake from here and the first thing that gets me is the price now, for a 1/2 sheet cake (think 3× what you would pay at local bakeries)which I didn't know until I had designed and was placing the order(I asked but I know I should have pushed for the price) once I got over the sticker shock I just bit the bullet & placed my order. The day of the party I'm in a rush I give it a quick glance that it was the right cake at pick up(trust me I kicked myself for not taking a better look) and go to the party location to realize when I unload it onto the graduate table the word Congratulations was misspelled on his cake. I didn't have time to go back and get it fixed. I called the next day to speak with the owner who took my order and the person who answered didn't even listen to my concerns. I can hear her laughing and telling the owner, she places the owner on the phone after a few minutes who then apologizes for the mistake and offers me a partial refund after I converse with her a bit. Which although I appreciate very much still means I paid quite a bit for a misspelled cake that will always be in my son's photos. I will not be returning and I leave this review not so others won't try this place because as I mentioned their cakes are delicious but just so others can watch that their designs are made/spelled correctly. I wish them the best of luck...

Hi. It is my son's birthday. He turns 14 today. I wanted to make him cake pops. I have 2 teens, one tween and a 10 year old. I was up late last night with them. It's their summer so they are in the stay up late and sleep in phase of life. I was up a little after 6 with the sun and birds. Being tired, I looked up another shop that opened at 9. I wanted to make him the pops before he gets home at 11. When i got here, the sign said it opened at 10. The bakery i had found on the web said the other one opened at 9. So would i have to wait an hour or find some place else?. Nope the owner was parked in the back and she invited me right in. She was so nice to talk to.
