I originally went around the Brightside to pick up a cake at Amy’s—I don’t realize they were really open at first since the inside is still kind of being put together and I didn’t see anybody, but decided to check it out while waiting for the cake. I had a nice little chat with the man waiting on me about their process and the freshness of the food as I waited for my carry out order. The food didn’t take too long and he threw in an extra roll for me which was super nice of them! He did warn me that the French onion doesn’t travel well, which I can confirm, but if you eat it at the restaurant, I’m sure it would be awesome. We also got the vegan tomato bisque and I’m not big on vegan stuff, but it was great and really creamy. The roll that came with it was delicious and soft and was perfect dipped in both soups. Read moreMy boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place while trying to look for a quick and healthy meal for lunch. I’ve lived in waterford for over a decade and have been waiting on a place that offers meals with real ingredients and unique options. No fast/fried fatty foods. All whole ingredients is such a plus. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately welcomed with a smile and by the owner Nathan who was very pleasant. We were ordering takeout and were provide with a table to sit down and look over the menu. He offered us water while we decided. When we got home and ate the Dee’s chicken sandwich. We were blown away with how amazing it was. The flavors are unique and delicious. The lemon mayo was flavorful and chicken cooked to perfection. We also had the tomato bisque soup which was homemade and very good! I would recommend this place to anyone and we can’t wait to come back to try the owner’s signature thanksgiving...
Read moreWe stopped in for lunch after seeing their great reviews! Nathan greeted us promptly & his service was attentive & outstanding! We split the Reuben & each had a cup of soup…the sweet potato & roasted marshmallow (yes, you read that correctly!!) & the green onion & roasted sweet corn. Both were creative, excellent & served with yummy, warm rolls! Everything was served promptly, not rushed & prices were very reasonable. And I have to mention the corned beef because I’m a huge meat snob….it was amazing! Highly recommend!!! We’ll...
