Hessed's Connection Cafe & Laundry — Restaurant in Watertown

I recently attempted to do laundry at the hesseds connection cafe laundromat in Watertown, and I encountered a significant problem with the PayRange payment system, compounded by the lack of PayRange dryers. Specifically: "The laundromat only accepts PayRange for the Maytag washers. I needed to wash a large blanket, requiring a larger machine, which did not accept PayRange." "This limitation was not clearly indicated, leading me to load money onto the PayRange app unnecessarily." Dryer Issues: "Critically, there are no PayRange-enabled dryers at this laundromat. This means that even if I had been able to use the Maytag washers, I would have been unable to use PayRange for the drying cycle." "This makes the PayRange washer only option even more pointless."

"Because I could not use the machines I needed, the money I added to PayRange is now inaccessible. The laundromat stated that they do not provide refunds." "This creates a situation where I am left with a balance on an app that I cannot use at this location for the type of laundry I needed to do."

We love Connection Cafe! When we moved here from just outside Denver I kept driving by for TWO years and seeing the laundromat and coffee shop and I judged the coffee shop by the laundromat due to my previous city experiences without even going inside. This is not "those" places. This place is amazing! I was humbled by my own pre-set judgements. It is beautiful and cozy. The owners are wonderful. I have tried many things on the menu and have never had anything that didn't taste fantastic! I also like the outdoor seating by the trees and field out back. Very peaceful. It was my loss that I took two years before I stepped inside. If that's you. Just go in and check it out and you'll not regret it. We have been faithfully spending a decent amount of our coffee and dining out budget at Connection Cafe for 3...

Location / Atmosphere – A very nice option for a quick lunch in Watertown WI. Very clean and well managed. Very pleasant restaurant / coffee house with plenty of room. There was a small group around 8 people when I was there that were meeting. Plenty of room and I didn’t even know that they were there.

Food / Beverage - I had the Chicken salad sandwich when I was there. Nice over-all and tasted ‘home made’ with nice sized pieces of chicken throughout. Their ‘Cole slaw’ was very nice as well and not to ‘mayonnaise(y)’. Also grabbed a quick cup of coffee on my way out. Nice selection of various coffee flavors. Perfect for a quick cup to-go before hitting the road.

Service – Very friendly, pleasant and attentive service.
