We just happened across this place while looking up local eateries and WOW(!) we are so glad that we did. It wasn't marked super clearly from the outside and you may not even find it unless you know it's there. Don't let the unassuming location in the back of a truck stop fool you, this is quality Indian on par with anything in the state.
We had the samosa chaat appetizer (pictured) which was flavorful with just the right combination of spices. The naan is fluffy with just enough crispness to it.
She had the chicken tikka masala to which she gave 2 thumbs up.
I had the baingan bharta (which is my favorite dish of all cuisines of all time). Truly phenomenol execution on their part. Just a hint of smokiness. If you are feeling adventurous and want to try a new dish, do yourself a favor and try theirs.
The owner was friendly. Food was on par with (if not better than) any Indian restaurant you would get in a larger sized city. Prices are fair. Madaani Naanstop is worth a trip on its own if you are in the area. We...
Read moreI truly want this place to be successful that’s why I gave 5 starts but I need to give some recommendations. Your building is new and I can see that you guys are trying to figure out your service plan. I assume you will have some signs up to clarify how to get to the restaurant. No problem on that. But food… please make your portion sizes bigger or don’t charge crazy prices for them. What would you guys do if you go to an Indian restaurant and order a butter chicken and they don’t serve it with rice or naan? Come on man. Lamb kebab was tossed in a ketchup or something. I couldn’t believe it but at least make it bigger portion. You are serving your food in a small American town. I truly want you guys to be successful and have decent food because we need new options in the area but please don’t scam us. By the way your garlic naan is phenomenal. Please double check your prices and portion sizes. Also the server we had was extremely good. It was her first day and...
Read moreThis is such a welcome addition to the area! The food is quite tasty and for those who have enjoyed Indian cuisine, you will find plenty of favorites to choose from.
The naan is wonderfully crisp and rich with flavor, the saag (spinach) entrees are so tasty as are the chickpeas (chana masala).
I’m particularly fond of the tiki (chicken) masala, which has such a savory flavor.
The pakoras (which we’ve had twice) are a must have.
The spices are very well managed, but I’ll try hot next time as the medium seems a little gentle for my preference (your...
