Red Goat Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Watkins

Ok someone needs to seriously take some time to train our server. From the get-go, she evidently thought the pour spout of the water pitcher was a thumb hold! Every drink she served, she five fingered on the rim! Lovely that this was after several times futsing with her hair. Forgot to put in our appetizer order, forgot one drink completely, maybe it was the table of 4 guys she was enjoying talking to? We finally got our food and it was so nice of them to completely hold on to the breadstick with their bare hands as they brought it to the table! We are no germ-aphobs and still ate and drank from every wrong thing they touched but holy hell, train your staff how to Serve-Safe.

The food was very good! Really good! Compliments to the kitchen!!!

I’m guessing staffing is an issue...our group of 14 showed up and we felt punished...can’t sit inside, can’t sit in this or that chair to wait to be seated outside and only at these tables that you can’t move together. Our server got very upset when other customers said they’d be happy to move so our group could sit closer. That “wasn’t her section” and “she wasn’t going to do that”. I’ve served for 12 years. Never would any of this happen where...

Nothing to be excited about. Tried Red Goat for the first time tonight. I ordered the pork rib basket. My 1st two ribs I ate were very fatty, and I thought the sauce was very plain. The waitress had been by to check on us already, and i had barely touched the first two ribs, so did not bother mentioning anything at that time. Then the next two ribs I attempted to eat were cold, so not very appealing to eat. I nibbled on them and just couldn't finish them cold like that. I took the rib basket up to the bar area where all the staff were standing and told them about the first two ribs and the other two were cold. They were very apolgetic and did ask if I wanted a new basket, but I was full from eating all the tator tots that the basket came with. The tator tots were good. So instead of offering to take off my side salad from our bill or even take off my husbands soda, they just gave us the bill. They should have at least taken off something for me only eating two ribs that barely had any meat on them, mostly fat. We wont be back there or recommend this...

After bringing out our food the server checked in after about 2 minutes, and then disappeared until she brought out our tabs, we were the only table in the whole place, other than a few people at the bar. I ordered a sandwich I haven't tried before, what arrived wasn't what I expected, took 3 bites and wasn't happy with it, assumed my mistake. Then my friend pointed out that I wasn't actually given the correct sandwich that I ordered. When the server brought out the tabs, I told her that it wasn't what I ordered, and she agreed that she made a mistake. She apologized, then charged me full price and disappeared again. I didn't have time to wait around for her to come back to complain, but seems like basic customer service that I shouldn't have to pay full price, or at all for something I...
