Normally I would never leave a bad review, but this time I am making an exception. When you spend $40+ on a meal out, I expect better—but maybe not after COVID. Here’s what went wrong: 1.The fries came out soggy and OLD. So we sent them back for fresh fries. So much better! Why didn’t they serve them that way from the get go? Wings they sent out not fresh or good. They made a new batch for us—10 times better!! Again, why wasn’t that served to us in the first place? The sodas we ordered never came out, so we had to remind them about it. The side salad ingredients were good but had some major amounts of red onion. Red onion is an overwhelming ingredient. No lie there was 1/2 a chopped onion in the salad. A lot of time was spent fishing out the thousand bits of onion. And to top it off, the salad dressing came out wrong. Not the cleanest place. We sat on the patio and I liked the lights that were strung.
I would really like to see this place make it, but I will never be back unless someone convinces me otherwise that it has majorly improved. I’m not a restaurant owner, but isn’t the main ingredient of success doing things right the first time? The ONLY redeeming quality of Winghouse was the second server we had who spent a lot of time righting...
Read moreI can't say enough good things about this place, and I've learned why this place is always packed whenever I drive by it. Easily (EASILY) the best wings in town, whether that be lemon pepper, garlic parm, or the tradition mild/medium/hot. Also, best pricing for wings that is still reasonable (unlike literally everywhere else where wings are crazy expensive). Everything on the menu is tasty and it's always tough for me to decide what to get between the fried pickles, the philly cheesesteak, or the burger.
But the best thing (and what has made me a loyalist to Winghouse Grill for the rest of my life), is that I came in one time and just did not have a good experience at all with the service and drinks. The owner/manager/bossman found out about this, knew that this did not meet the standard he wants set at his restaurant, and went way above and beyond to make it right and to make sure that my experience at Winghouse Grill is always top-notch and the best that it can be. I can't wait to come back. This place has earned its spot on the weekly rotation, and if you haven't tried it out, you definitely should! I really enjoy supporting this local business (and getting fantastic service and food at the...
Read moreWe have been to this location many times and always enjoyed the food. Then tonight I stop by and ordered a chicken philly with onions and green peppers with fries, a side order of cheese fries and a slice a cake. While showing me my order I realized the young lady misunderstood my order and had to order a second order of fries. No problem this happens. Being distracted by the fry order I did not realize until I got home my chicken philly was instead a steak philly with no onions or greens peppers. To top it off the cake was half a piece not the normal full slice. I wanted to make management aware of the problem so I called and asked for the manager. the young lady put me hold and when she picked back up the line and ask what I needed cause the manager said it was middle of dinner shift and I could either tell her or leave a message but she didn’t have time to speak to me at this time. Unbelievable... I told the young lady I had a complaint and if she didn’t have time to speak with I could take my business else where. I’ve always enjoyed the food (recommended to many family and friends) but if manager can not take 2 minutes to listen to a customer then they no longer need my money...
