Tasty food! Interesting choices. The red button made quite an impression. Mostly traditional sandwich fare, but nestled in a strangely cool vibe.
This is a very interesting eclectic choice of pink and white decor. Plus a disco vibe with the disco ball in the middle of the restaurant.
The colors are bright and at first it seemed a little disconcerting. But I have to say overall it was an enjoyable experience.
Assuming you're going there to eat let's talk about the food a little bit. There were a couple of burger choices that we tried and they were extremely tasty. I had fries for the side and they were seasoned well.
The pimento cheese was very good.
They have a bar area in the restaurant. So they do have a selection of wine and beer.
It feels different than most restaurants. I'm not really sure what it is other than the colors and decor. Kind of a open airy feel versus the darker theme or fast food theme. The pink here shouts out at you. But, at the end of the day the food was excellent so I'm going to focus on that.
They also have servers that come to your table which is a big plus for me in the restaurant world. So many places are going to the counter ordering. I'm not a big fan of that.
The only downside to this place that I really can mention is their choice of glassware for water and wine is a small shallow glass that looks a lot like a ramekin for ketchup or something... It's perfectly functional but it seems a little short.
A strange tidbit that does provide some novelty is the bathroom. You really need to check them out and be sure to hit the red button.
I have no doubt we will return here. The food was good and the atmosphere was unique. I forgot to mention it but the service was also excellent. (Both bar and table side)
There's parking available in the lot and I think adjacent lot.
This is certainly a good place for a family dinner, group of friends, or a casual date. Maybe not a...
Read moreThis is definitely a restaurant to remember, but for a few very different reasons. Firstly, I have heard rumors about the bathrooms there, and they did not disappoint. I won't spoil the surprise if you plan on going there, but let's just say that there's a certain red button... As for the service, the night we ate there was pretty bad. It took 35-40 minutes from ordering until we got our food, or in other terms, we had our water refilled 4 times. However, we were given some free banana pudding for the wait. The food was very good, I had a bacon cheeseburger, and I am not someone who likes burgers that much, but this one made it into my top 5. As for the atmosphere of the restaurant, it was very unconventional, but not in a bad way. Bright colors (mostly pink), and rounded shapes on the booths. I was seated outside, where there were some arguably more flimsy tables, wooden wraparound benches, and some stools. Although it was cold, there was a heater mounted on the ceiling (it did turn off 3 separate times though). Overall, a pretty good restaurant, but...
Read moreImmaculate vibes. Easily the coolest restaurant in Watkinsville. I felt like we were in downtown LA or Austin. Great atmosphere, feels really trendy and modern. I think we could have gotten some really fun pics for social media but wasn’t dressed for it. I got an iced latte which I loved.
The best part was that this place has a menu that catered to my whole family. The fries were hot, crispy, and I’m assuming hand cut because they tasted fresh. I got the bbq salad with cooked greens instead of lettuce and it fed me for 4 meals - really filling and healthy. People at our table also got more traditional options and liked it. I wished the Mac and cheese was more runny than dry but I think everyone has a preference. Also I prefer ketchup based bbq sauce and I think the bbq sauce here is vinegar based but the smoked pork was still really good. Had tofu on the menu which surprised me.
I wish I loved closer because this seems like a great spot to sit on the patio...
