I want to start off by saying I really wanted to like this place. It’s removed, in a postcard picturesque valley, and has views at sunset that are worth the trip to have a drink at their outdoor bar.

Everything started off fine. Drinks were good and we were enjoying the atmosphere. As the dinners arrived, our table held its collective breath. Presentation was commendable, but when it came time to take a bite, all hope vanished. We had ordered the pork chop, chicken panini, and pasta with shrimp and scallops.

The food, to be blunt, was flavorless, dry, and completely underwhelming.

The pork chop was dry. Absolutely zero flavor. I couldn’t even finish the dinner because it was just that dry.

The shrimp and scallop were awful - watery and flavorless as well.

Now, for the chicken panini. It came out WITHOUT the chicken. To make matters worse, the server attempted to remedy the situation by bringing out a separate piece of chicken, cut up into bite sized pieces. I mean….i don’t even know what to do with that. Is the expectation for the person eating to pile on the chicken pieces to the messed up panini? To eat it separately? Just completely flabbergasted. Just to let you know what should have happened: you apologize, and bring out A NEW PANINI.

OR if the person eating says ‘no, I’m good, I don’t want the chicken or replacement,’ you LISTEN and don’t bring out cut up pieces of chicken as if I’m a toddler being fed by my parent. Also, completely classless to not take the chicken-less panini off the bill. I mean, are you serious?

I would not recommend eating here to anyone looking for anything decent or flavorful. With zero competition around, it’s easy to see why this place is packed. There’s literally no other options. So, I get it, but, I make it a point to try and only eat out at places that are worth the money AND deliver on...

Cute establishment but really disappointed in our seating arrangement. It was our first time there and I had requested a booth reservation for a designated time for an anniversary celebration. This request was confirmed by them through their social media site.

Upon arrival we announced we had a reservation. Instead of a booth, we were seated at a table next to a large group of six. I asked if a booth was available and the wait staff said no. So much for trying to set a reservation.

Food was ok. We ordered an appetizer of peppers in oil and warm bread. Outstanding! My main course was the broiled seafood platter. It came with two side choices. The platter was what was expected: two scallops and shrimp (all cooked to perfection), a large piece of white fish (just a bit dry), and a crabcake. All swimming in a large amount of butter (I like butter but it was a bit too much for me). My sides were a baked potato and a bowl of sauteed mushrooms and onions. The ratio of mushroom to onion was extremely thin.

My partner ordered the stromboli with sauce. He said it was good but could have been browned a little more on top. It did appear a bit pale.

I had one of their specialty drinks, an apple cider margarita. Way too sweet for my taste.

Staff were friendly and food came out quickly. But the lack of our reservation request made our experience less than special. All in all, we decided the best part of our visit was the $5.00 peppers in oil appetizer. But not worth the 30 minute drive to...

My family came up to visit, and we decided to eat here. I ordered the lobster roll, which looked amazing in the photo on their Facebook page—but what I received was completely different. I got the end piece of one slice of bread and a lobster leg with some crumbled meat. For $28, I expected much better quality and portion size.

I tried to leave a comment on their Facebook page to express my disappointment, but instead of responding professionally, they blocked me and deleted my comment. That kind of behavior is unacceptable for a business. A better approach would have been to reach out, ask why I was dissatisfied, and try to resolve the issue.

For $28, I could have taken my family to Red Lobster and gotten a full lobster meal. This experience felt like false advertising, and the fact that they’re removing critical comments only reinforces...
