Easy to find. Place is clean. A plus! Wait staff is helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. 😊
I ordered the Quesadilla dinner. I ordered steak and Al Pastor combined. Cook said $2 extra. I said OK. My first time here... wanted to taste both in my visit.
Waitress brought me chips & salsa. Pretty mild. Waitress brought out three sauces. Red, green, and, like, avocado green. None's hot. Pretty tame.
My order came out and it looked good/appetizing. Rice's good. Beans' good. Little side salad's good. Quesadilla is just ok. I was looking for more flavor on the steak/Al Pastor. Not enough melty cheese.
I asked the waitress if she can bring me a roasted Jalapeno. She had to ask the cook and the cook didn't know/understand what I was requesting. Cook asked the waitress to ask me if I want the jalapeno from the can or fresh one. I opted for the fresh jalapeno. Cook just sliced up a fresh jalapeno, placed it in a small dish, and the waitress served it to me. I thought the cook would roast the fresh jalapeno before giving it to me. I just accepted what the waitress brought.
I ate most of my food, finished my Corona Extra, and left.
I'm not mad. I just wanted more flavor/delicious taste.
I'll probably try a different Mexican restaurant next time...
Read moreWe stopped by on a Monday, $1 tacos caught our eye and reviews seemed pretty good. Place is smaller, not a lot of atmosphere, but we were there for the food, hoping for good Mexican. We left more than a little dissatisfied. They have a large, extensive menu, theblargest offering of breakfast and hamburgers at a Mexica restaurant we've ever seen. When we sat down we were brought chips and pico. They brought three bottles of salsa I would assume but would have required placing on individual chips and when we did we werent happy with the salsa. The pico was fresh and very favorable, unfortunately our favorite part of the meal. We ordered 2 tacos, beef and chicken only flavors offered for $1, and a chicken chimichanga with beans and "salad", a little lettuce and tomato. Tacos were okay, only meat, cilantro and onions. The beef wasn't a traditional seasoned Mexican beef, more simple and certainly not taco bell. The chicken was rather bland and drier. The shells were very good, more authentic, so overall okay. The Chimi had the same chicken, again bland, and really little else. Expected more cheese, better flavor, but it was a miss. Refried beans were also pretty bland. After that we didn't care for much else so we left. I...
Read moreOur waiteress was very friendly n kind. What I didn't like was.......1st - when I sat by the register. I know they need to keep moving in out of their area. But they had no respect that I was sitting there. They would move in there so fast n didn't care if they hit you all the time I sat there. I had to move ao I won't be getting hit.If that's the case. Then why would you put a table there?! The table there is for 4 chairs. Then you should have a table there for 2 chairs Instead n Not for 4 chairs. 2nd - My steak taco had No flavor. My Al Pastor taco meat was cut for little babies as well for the pineapples. Had little flavor not much but something. 3rd. Went to use the bathroom. No Toilet paper. I checked into their white cabinet furniture stand they have. No Toilet paper. Only their hair brushes n stuff. It's like they do their hair there at work place. 4th - What kind of a Restaurant is it? Mainly is more American food than Mexican food. Even to advertise in the internet. All pictures is American food. We never been there before. We looked at the Reviews n saw it was good. We went there to celebrate our son's birthday. We Did Not like it. We won't go back ever again. It was really...
