Stopped here twice - on our way to SC and on our way home. Overall, its not terrible... but definitely not what we're used to in NJ. First visit I had a sausage parm sandwich that was pretty good. Not the usual roll I'm used to, but good nonetheless. The wife had an eggplant parm sandwich that she said was "ehhhh". First time we ate in - if you're looking for atmosphere, this ain't the place for you... outside looks great, but the inside is more like some of the roadside breakfast joints off the interstate - not that that's a bad thing... just not what I prefer for dinner. On our way back it was later in the evening so we opted for a pepperoni pizza to take back to our nearby hotel. So... the pizza is not awful (I've had worse), but if you're a Philly/NJ/NYC traveler its NOT like anything you have back home. The pie is a bit heavy on the cheese and the crust is not what I'm used to, but again - not the worst I've had. Both visits the staff we dealt with weren't exactly cheerful, but they did what they needed to take care of us. Overall... I give 'em 3 stars. For all the Philly/NJ/NYC folks traveling I-95, if you don't go in with high expectations you'll be ok. If you don't want the usual rest stop food and just gotta have Italian/pizza, give 'em a try. If you're super finicky about your Italian food / pizza, this ain't the...
Read moreStopped here on way north. Thought it was good so stopped again on way south. 2nd time around seemed like new chefs in kitchen. Homemade Lasagna had no taste, was watery, far from homemade and a general disappointment. Veal Picata was tough and chewy, no flavor and I’m sure those guys in kitchen have no clue how to prepare these dishes. We were seated quickly and waitress was on top of us before we even had a chance to look over menu. Then she was too busy sitting behind counter so we had to ask for napkins and tea refill. We were starving so we ate it and gave a nice tip because I don’t believe in stiffing a waitress even tho she is terrible. I had recommended this place because of our first experience now I regret it. After looking around, there were dead bugs on the window ledges. This place needs to change its name because it gives...
Read moreAfter being on the road for 8 weeks, traveling through everywhere from upstate NY to Seattle, WA, California, Arizona, and Florida, my partner and I were yearning for a meal that reminded us of home. Little Italy Grill delivered—and then some.
We tried the Special Stromboli, Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, and the Shrimp appetizer, and let me tell you, this food was not only on point but tasted like pure heaven. Every bite was a reminder of why good food matters—it’s comfort, it’s joy, it’s magic.
The kindness of the staff only added to the experience, making us feel like we weren’t just eating a meal but visiting a place that genuinely cares about its guests. This restaurant deserves every bit of 5 stars—anything less is a tragedy.
If you’re anywhere near Stony Creek, do yourself a favor and go eat here. Trust me, you...
