Pino's Pizza #2 — Restaurant in Waverly

We've had 2 great experiences, and 1 not so great experience in this newer location. The lady (I assume owner) is super kind and bubbly and very friendly (always has been). She was supervising 1st two visits. Last visit was a male who was not nearly as kind or welcoming. I recognized the waitress from the time before, she was still sweet and kind of quiet. The last visit, we came about 30 minutes prior to closing and asked if it was too late to dine in, he said yes. I wasn't happy, but understood. So I ordered to go. I feel like he charged MUCH more prior to my past 2 visits where I actually got to dine in and tip. I understand late nights and late stragglers and everyone wanting to get home. But the last visit left alot to be desired and makes me not as excited to go back. Me and my son LOVE their Buffalo chicken wrap. And also enjoy getting a chicken roll with Buffalo inside. They probably have great food otherwise, but these are hands down our favorites, so we don't really stray. The roll leaves for plenty of leftovers that we get to enjoy for another day. The medium roll I ordered last time was super doughy. So I will likely go back to the small one because it seemed to taste much better. Overall, I love small, family run places and support where I can. Just hope that one time...

I’m not surprised you all called me back to inform me that you found my order. I already knew it was a conspiracy, I’m not stupid! The first time you all messed up my order, I was charged for an item I didn’t not received. This time around when I come to receive my order I asked if the item I ordered (I did not receive from the previous order) could be removed. Upon the waiter returning to check the status of my order, I’m told the other waitress gave it to another customer. Poor child look so confused and certain that she didn’t not cash out my order. I just walked off because I knew something wasn’t right and I did not trust to consume anything from this restaurant.Fifteen minutes of me driving up the road I get a phone call from the young lady apologizing saying my food was there. Nope! I appreciate her for being kind even when faced with adversity but I wouldn’t eat from here anymore if it was the last place on earth to eat. My food was cold on the previous order as well but after paying $67 and taking it from the restaurant, I had no choice but to...

My husband and I arrived around 11 a.m. for a weekday lunch, and we were the only in-restaurant diners until the lunch crowd showed up around noon. Sitting there, I realized I hadn't been in this building in 5 years or more (2-3 restaurants ago). It's so bright and cheerful compared to the way it looked back then.

The servers/hosts were friendly and helped each other out bringing our food, clearing dishes, etc. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. What impressed my husband most about his Garlic & Olive Oil with Shrimp pasta entrée was that it wasn't swimming in oil. And my Sausage, Peppers, Onions & Spaghetti in Red Wine Sauce was delicious, with plenty of sauce for dipping the tasty Garlic Knots.

But my favorite part was their Homemade Fried Ice Cream. After unsuccessfully breaking the taco shell bowl with my spoon, I gave up and started eating it like it was an oversized ice cream cone.
