Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Waxahachie

The customer service at this particular time and location was better than I had at most fine dining and upscale casual restaurants. I was actually impressed with the respect I was given. The food was good for what it is. I haven't had sonic in over 12 years and needless to say I'm going to visit two or three other locations to see if the service I received here is a company standard. Highly recommend going to this Sonic if you're in the area. Food was hot and tasted made to order, unlike most fast food restaurants they made food however they please but I noticed in the kitchen that they were able to manage food orders in a proper time; they started on the items that took the longest first and completed the items that took a short time last. A lot of restaurants can't seem to grasp this logic but it's subtle differences like this I really appreciate. Kitchen staff was on their expert mode and the cashiar was killing it being able to multi task and provide superior service. I no longer go to Sonic in Fredericksburg Tx, had an exstremely bad exsperience with one of the mangers after returning food I did not order and it was very old. Even though I had a friend who worked there, they just exspected I would take it and not complain. I got in touch with Corprate office because of his hatefullness and not willing to cook what I had asked for after returning what I didn't order. So they offer me a coupon for a sandwhich and exspected me to go back to the same store with the coupin that manager and emplyees could see why I got the coupin. Like I was gonna order from them after what had happened. They would have spit in my food or something. And the big manager called me at my home she got the number from Corperate and she tried to take up for the male manager instead of me. No thank you I don't eat at SONIC IN FRECERICKSBURG AND I DO TELL OTHER PEOPLE WHAT THEY DONE. CAN YOU BELIEVE CORPERATE GAVE MY NAME AND PHONE NUMBER TO THE MANAGERS? WHAT HORRIBLE BUSSINESS...

If I could give this Sonic location zero or negative stars, I would. They consistently mess up orders and do not honor deals that Sonic promotes. They sometimes require a text to give you the daily deal, even when it is on Sonic's website and other locations honor it without you even asking for it. In this small of a town, with tons of restaurants and two other Sonics, it is unbelievable that the owner doesn't take more pride in providing decent customer service. The other two locations in Waxahachie are great. The only, only, ONLY reason we visit this location is because it is sometimes the only restaurant we pass, so if we need to drive through & grab a bite to eat in a hurry, it is literally our only option. That infuriates me, because I know I'll eventually be back when I have no other option, even though I loathe this specific Sonic (although gas station snacks will be my go-to choice in a pinch from now on). At least it's motivation to plan ahead and eat at home or pack a cooler...
