Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Waycross

I do not expect this place to stay open very much longer. Due to the bad reputation poor customer service and bad management. This evening three of the employees sat in the dining room on phones chatting away with each other. Then get mad when a customer walks in because somebody is going to have to get up and take their order. They huff and puff behind the counter and say WHAT DO YOU WANT. they refuse to drop fresh chicken when they don't have enough of spicier or regular. If you ask for all white as I did tonight I was told I would have to have it mixed with dark that that was all they had. When in fact they just didn't want to cook more and I had to get original and spicy mixed. Corporate needs to come in and clean house in review videos of what actually goes on inside this restaurant. After three of them sat in the dining room I saw four cars lined up waiting for food outside. No attention was paid to them. There were two young men running the whole back of the house and taking food out to the cars as the other three in the lobby had a grand old time not paying any attention to any of the customers as if we were a burden own them because we decided to dine in. Management should be fired instantly for showing poor leadership. The employees are rude and do as they please. For the price it cost for a family to dine out we will not tolerate the poor quality service food or disrespectfulness. We live two blocks from this Popeyes and we will not be returning back until something is done. This Popeyes location is the butt end uptown jokes people are traveling to the other side of town to the other Popeyes because the customer service is so much better. I would really hate to see this location close because I have always been a fan of Popeyes and it's only 2 blocks away. No families should be treated as an inconvenience buy Popeyes employees because they have to work when you dine in. I have been to some run-down Popeyes that had great customer service. The restaurant was extremely cold. My children and I could barely sit in the lobby without being extremely cold because of how well they kept the air. The service was very slow. My husband had to walk up to the counter four different times and ask for the biscuit that he never did get with his meal and some dipping sauce. In the meantime they were taking other orders and serving other customers without eating finishing our order first and my husband and I receiving all of our food with our order first. We had a dine in order, instead of them putting our meal on a platter they put our food into Togo bags. We were forced to eat our meal at the table without a tray hurrying as fast as we could to finish our food because it took forever to get all of our food in the restaurant temperature was extremely cold. The employees speaking a very low tone we could barely hear them when we were asking for sauce and our biscuit that we never did get with our meal. Update: Went today for lunch and much better experience! They did forget my parent's order but we're quick to correct the mistake and very accommodating! The staff was wonderful! The nicest service I have had in Waycross lately. Each employee was very pleasant and professional. Came out to the dining area numerous times to check on customers. That was a breath of fresh air. Food was hot and good and up to Popeyes' standard. The red beans and rice is always my favorite! Way to go, staff! I appreciate the business!

Old review: I am not sure why they stay open until 11. Went to the drive through at 10:15 and they had nothing but wings left and had no intention of cooking anything else. Poor service.
