Valentino's — Restaurant in Wayne Township

First things first, I enjoyed the lasagna. I got an “Individual Portion” ($10+). I’m going to recommend ordering a “Family Portion” for half again as much. Might be more of a value. (Disclaimer, I haven’t compared sizes). The sauce is sweet. Don’t expect “fancy”. The “meaty sauce” just had what looked like tiny premade meatballs from a bag. I am okay with that. Why did I score them 3 out or 5 stars? I almost scored them a 2, but decided on 3 last minutes. I ordered a “Cheese Roll” ($3+). They charged me $3.30 for a cheap, hamburger bun with some shredded cheese on it! This is almost enough for me to consider never going back. I wondered why it wasn’t pictured, now I know. Interaction with staff was fine. No complaints. The gentleman was proficient and patient. I was welcomed coming in, and thanked on my way out. Recommendations: -Order ahead. It took about 20 minutes for lasagna and a toasted hamburger bun. The Lobby isn’t a comfortable place to wait. Think waiting at a Little Ceasar’s. -consider a family portion vs an individual. For about $5 more, it looks like you could get 2-4 meals out of it. -Do NOT order the cheese “roll”. It is a hamburger bun. Simple sesame seed hamburger bun. I really did enjoy the lasagna. I hope you give it a try. Just skip the cheese “roll”…. I will not...

Walked in & ordered to go, had a wait but was to be expected and well worth it for hot, fresh, delicious food. The Baked Lasagna with heavy meat sauce, Baked Manicotti with marinara sauce and Hamburger Pizza all have the same great taste I remember, as well as the Garlic Spirazzi Breadtwists and Cinnamon Spirazzi Breadtwists!! I didn't get their famous macaroni salad this first visit but it's a definite must try next time. There are other salad options including a house salad also. Pleasant atmosphere with some counter seating, though this new location is mainly set up for delivery and to go orders. I love that they have individual as well as the family size pastas and the option to buy just one of their breadtwists or cinnamon breadtwists in addition to the six. Although I will always miss their buffet, having their great tasting food available...

We were stuck in the area with a broke down truck for a couple days. Our first night in a hotel we ordered from someone else local and were hugely disappointed. I wish I had found these guys first! The second night I ordered from them and it was a great experience beginning to end. The person who took my order on the phone was patient and helpful with my annoying questions. The delivery arrived right on time. The food was all fresh and hot. The pizza itself was good size and delicious. Lasagna was exceptional. Bread sticks were soft and perfectly seasoned. The salad was fresh and delicious. The dressings were incredible. The delivery driver was friendly and professional. Just a really great experience over all!!
