HORRIBLE experience! I visited tonight with my boyfriend. We ordered two beers before ordering our meal. Both of us are of legal age, and my partner is in his early 30’s! The waiter checked our ID’s. He went to the back, then returned and asked to check my partner’s ID again, then proceeded to take his ID to the back, presumably to scan it. A few minutes later, yet another waiter came back to our table with my partners ID, this time claiming that it was a fake ID. Both my partner and I objected, explaining that the ID is up to date and not fake. The waiter started to curse, using the N-word slur. I asked for a manager. The owner of the restaurant came over and basically told us that she needed to see another form of ID because the photo on my partner’s ID doesn’t match his face. My partner recently started going to the gym and has lost 50 pounds in a very short amount of time. The owner of this restaurant has essentially fat shamed my partner and told him that his photo does not look like him because he was “too fat” back then to match his face now. She then proceeded to attempt to kick us out of the restaurant, however we were already on our way out. She decided to record us as we were walking to our car. Too much drama at this restaurant. I would...
Read moreMy friend and I visited this restaurant for a session for my daughter’s Quinceañera. The service and food is delicious. I had the chicken flautas-crunchy and tasty. The salsa was off the hook and the tortillas crunchy and fresh. The 3 flautas were huge. My friend had the guacamole-which was okay. The drinks were watered down so make sure to tell them-less ice. Overall, fair prices and good food. Nevertheless, we went to book a room. Ignacio, the manager was cordial and professional and extremely helpful even though he was busy with another event. We met the owner’s son, Jesus-polite. Unfortunately, he wasn’t clear with the prices and confirming the date for the event. He never called to confirm whether or not to book the room which is very disappointing when you are depending on the space to continue planning for everything else. The room is huge and spacious with beautiful arched windows which unfortunately are blocked by these HUGE booths in which Ignacio shared that they have lost clientele due to the HUGE booths and were planning to remove them. Recommend the restaurant but for the event space not sure about that, especially when you are not asked for a deposit and they don’t get back to you....
Read moreI have to tell you i was very disappointed in my visit there on Cinco De Mayo. Now i get it that its a very busy day for them and the place was hopping. I was there with my Sister & Brother in law who were in from San Diego (so they know mexican food) we were celebrating my wifes and my 46th wedding anniversary. Yes we were married on May 5th way before any of us knew what Cinco de mayo was all about. The first issue was they had an limited menu but i guess i get that just to nake it easy to handle the crowd. We ordered a pitcher of Margaritas which was supposed to be topshelf which was mostly ice and i can tell you it was far from topshelf i questioned if any liquor was in it to find out we were billed $55 for the pitcher. It took for ever to get our meal and when we finally got it it was cold. (I ordered a sizzling steak fajitas which not only not sizzling it was ice cold. I guess we were lucky because the table next to us sat there for over an hour and never got there food. I now remember why i dont go out on our anniversary. Very disappointed i really have to give them one more time because the place looks really festive. Also a little disappointed they didn't have live...
