I am a Wayne native. I have seen multiple restaurants use this location, and fail. Having been at one of these businesses, I can understand why. HOWEVER, that turnover rate for this location is going to change, now that Wayne Ale House & Pizza is there! This place is fantastic! First off, I want to say this: The hours are excellent. Every now and then, I get involved in something and cannot eat until after 10pm. Every good pizza place is closed...If I wanted a good pizza, I would have to go to Pizza Town in Elmwood Park. That has officially changed. I was in last night. around 10pm. Kitchen was still open, and I been wanting to give these guys a try. I am happy I did! The pizza was delicious! Fresh ingredients, tangy sauce, and tasty mozzarella. The service was also top notch. I was having an acid reflux issue, and had to make a trip to the bathroom. I tried to be discreet about it, but the waitress knew something was up, and offered me some water to help out. I did not catch her name, but she had reddish-purple hair, and was a little pale skinned. If the owner is reading this, you have a great waitress, that pays good attention to detail. Treat her well. Met the owner, as well. We had a nice conversation, and was happy to hear he is a Devils fan, and will be having games on, come hockey season. I will DEFINITELY be back! Especially during hockey season, when I am craving watching hockey in a great atmosphere, while having great pizza! I have already recommended you guys to my friends and family in the area. Good luck to your new business. Although, if you guys keep doing what you are doing, you will be around for a LONG time. Like I said, I will be back.

Tried this place recently. There was a pretty big crowd around 9 pm. We sat in the upper bar area. We were unimpressed by the menu. The only vegetable pizza toppings were olives and onions, maybe one other?!? Kitchen can't handle more choices? Weird. Gives the impression that their target is younger people who want to come and watch sports and have a few slices and mozzarella sticks with their beers. OK, have at it. We won't be back. The high tops around the bar are way to small to accommodate the food and the (cheesy) paper napkin dispensers. Any why leave the metal pizza stand on the table if it's not being used by the current customer? Also, the place could use a dusting - I was tempted to run my finger over this for the photo but reconsidered lol. EDIT - No mushrooms (on the menu at least), and the green peppers are jalapenos...so again, I would say limited veggie toppings. But hey that's your call.

This place is amazing. When you want to go for a quick drink or get a great slice with friends, you cannot go wrong! I came for the 2 foot slice of pizza, taking on a challenge, and I was not disappointed! It was not as daunting, as I thought it was going to be, chose a pepperoni topping, because I did not want it to be too heavy. It was delicious. The pizza was crispy with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Also, try a few other appetizers, including the amazing meatballs, and the cheesiest pub fries you will ever eat in your life! Joe helped us with the menu and we were thrilled ! Also, all of the fall drinks were fire, especially the pacing area, and what I am calling, a pear margarita! Get the cinnamon sugar… Trust me! I will absolutely be back with friends!!!

Drinks: I was fortunate to be able to grab a cocktail with a friend. The drinks were crafted and well-made by the mixologists/bartenders. They were knowledgeable about the drink menu and craft beers! My only small recommendation is to have bar staff use fresh lime for cocktails rather than the lime concentrated products. This may have been a minor glitch or due to product availability. So, this does not hinder my thoughts on going back and having another drink with friends, family, or co-workers. Def. will come back! Other than that, the bartenders were pleasant, knowledgeable about the drink menu, and wanted to ensure we had enjoyed our experience.

Side Note: I did not have the food at the time as we were just going there to grab a cocktail and check out the new place. But, I will do so in the future . I have dietary restrictions and the manager and staff gave me much needed information to put my mind at ease. I cannot wait to try the food options!

Atmosphere: The entire staff were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable about the food, cocktails, and dietary restrictions. The manager welcomed us and gave us great details about the opening of the new establishment. All staff members' smiles, knowledge, and positivity gave off wonderful vibes and created a welcoming atmosphere!!

Food: My husband had food to go, enjoyed the meatball sandwich and cannot wait to try other menu items!!

I hope all that read this will try Wayne Ale for themselves and also have a great experience! I wish the owners and staff the best of luck on this new...

Went out to dinner here on Saturday the 19th. While we waited for a table we each had a cocktail in the bar. The cocktails were good and came in the proper glass wear. Once our table was ready we were seated in the bar area which was a little loud to have a conversation. I asked if we could be in the dining room which I was told was full so we took the table in the bar area. I understand that they were busy though. We ordered an appetizer which was the caprese salad and it was good we enjoyed it and with it we got regular plates. I just ordered water to drink and my husband ordered a soda both of these were served in plastic throw away cups which we thought was odd considering they have real glass wear at the bar. For dinner we ordered pizza which was really good but when we got it we got paper throw away plates and not real plates which we thought was a little odd since we got real plates with the salad. While the food was good the service was lacking. Our server didn't really seem to be on top of things in fact the table behind us had to go up to the bar to try and get more drinks and spoke to the manager about the service. I know they are a fairly new restaurant but the by now the wait staff should be on top of things and checking in with the tables they are serving. Our waitress only really checked on us once. I am willing to give it another try because the food was good but would hope to sit in the dining...
