Happy's Pizza — Restaurant in Wayne

So I've recently moved to Wayne, MI. So tonight I'm looking around for a place to eat. I don't like to do the doordash stuff I'd rather just get a carryout or pick up if I'm not cooking, which I'm usually not 🤭. I go to Hungry Howie's @ Wayne & Vanborn Rd & they're closed already @ 10:05p.m. Then I start heading home & I'm starving, my 5yr old is hungry too. I see Happy's Pizza & they're open! So I go in. The Owner or Manager, (I cannot remember his name) was such a great, sweet, & cute guy, told me that they're open till 11:00p.m. He & I engaged in a great conversation. He was very polite & he was very helpful. This particular Happy's Pizza I've never eaten at before, but I've had Happy's once or twice before. He had rang up a medium, cheese pizza for me & my son. He was very, very sweet. The staff that prepared it, did a great job because it tasted great! Honestly, I'm glad they stayed open untill 11:00p.m. (for now anyways). I can't wait for Covid to be over!!! I don't remember the owner's name but he was a very sweet, & very good looking young man. I recommend going to this Happy's Pizza 7 days a week or anytime you want pizza after 8pm & after 10pm. He said he works 7 days a week now at that location LOL. P.S. A-1 Service from all staff members. Everyone I saw was working hard & going out of there way to make my son & I feel like we were important. I don't mean to keep going on & on so I'm going to end with a Thank You to all employees @ Happy's Pizza. Thank you to all the staff & Thank you very much to Whatever your name is the gentleman that said he was the owner/Manager of that particular store at Van Born & Howe Road...

UPDATE 1/18/24 - I just spoke with the owner Rami over the phone and had the most positive, respectful, and exceptional conversation with the business owner. I wanted him to know that my end goal was not to receive a free meal and it was to make sure the customer service was addressed, as well as the employees poor behavior. He assured me that changes have been made since my not so great experience from September and it’s nice to hear that an owner takes customer service seriously these days. Rami also went the extra mile to offer a $20 credit in the future to rectify the entire ordeal that transpired. I am highly impressed with the quick response and the meaningful conversation we had with each other. I honestly look forward to meeting this courteous and stand up owner when I come back to the city to visit. I want to personally thank him and shake his hand for being a great guy that cares about customer feedback and for running a tight ship business that prides itself in customer satisfaction.

I was not only overcharged for some breadsticks and my large chicken strip salad, but they forgot the ranch salad dressing. How do you forget the most basic and simple item that goes on top of a salad? I had to drive all the way back up here with my receipt just to show they not only forgot the ranch in general, but I had paid for extra dressing since they only give one cup of dressing in general for a large salad. The staff here is filled with a bunch of entitled and attitude filled youngsters that know nothing about customer service or how to properly take orders and charge the correct amount. Ordered rib tips they were very tough no char on them just tasted horrible ordered cheese bread with toppings on it on a separate night was told 20 mins. 20 mins turned into a hour and then was told by the girl at the counter they didn't make your food and we are out of the toppings you want a d it was 8 people working and a crowd full of people walking out that was waiting longer than me then I left. Happys has went down hill since Abrar and her brother left, never giving them my business again at that store.
