Let me preface this by saying that their prices change for the same order all the time which they blame on tariffs, and at first I was okay with this.
I’ve been ordering the strawberry refresher with lemonade and now oat milk for a long time primarily for caloric reasons. I’ll get the same order three times a week and pay different prices for no apparent reason. Recently, Trish the older woman, was extremely rude to me when I questioned why the price kept changing. She claimed the pricing was in their system incorrectly. I did not accept the order and drove to the other Dunkin in Kutztown where I was able to place the same order for the correct price, and verify my order with a very polite young lady.
When I stopped in person later that day after the rude interaction with Trish, I was told that I was the only customer who ordered a strawberry refresher with oat milk (which is on their menu btw) and apparently they know me since I’m a regular customer, and they now realized they are “losing money” on the drink. I was then told that a new policy was put in place for me where I would be charged for the Sabrina Daydream refresher (high caloric drink) and given a 10% discount because I didn’t get the creamy foam which accounts for about 200 extra calories. Boy am I the special one.
Not only is this unethical, I have been singled out, rudely treated and now being forced to pay a higher price for a drink that I am clearly not ordering. Are customers now being forced to consume more calories whether they want to or not? Why create special pricing for just one customer? How did you just notice the pricing was wrong in your system? Why am I being rudely treated for your own error? Why am I still able to order the same drink on your app without the “new policy”?? Let me be clear this is not about the price for me but rather the principle and customer service. I am a very unhappy customer who will not be returning to this location and will be going to the Dunkin in Kutztown on Main Street from now on. I don’t need to spend my money where it is not wanted nor where it is under scrutiny. Get your pricing correct for ALL customers and not just one. This review warrants no response, good customer service means more to me in person and not under a...
Read moreHow do I start this? I have had some Dunkin orders go wrong in the past trust me I understand it’s busy and you mess something up. It’s an accident. BUT, I ordered the six dollar meal deal and pulled up to the window and I got a medium iced coffee with less ice, two liquid cane sugars, and almond milk. This has been the same drink I have always ordered my entire life. I’m very basic I don’t change it. The lady handed me the drink and it looked like it had absolutely nothing added inside. Like this was black coffee. I waited until she was done making the food (for some reason three people were working on the food when there was an entire line of cars behind me and nobody was doing anything else, but they’re all staring at this one guy making the food.) That’s a different point, but when she came back, I said can I have some almond milk in here, please. She then looked me dead in the eyes and said “ Oh, you want extra almond milk then” No, like this coffee was completely plain. This was not an “add extra” moment. This was you guys put regular amount of ice in here filled it up with premade iced coffee and didn’t even look at the ticket. Like the ice is taking up the entire container when I asked for less ice. I then drove away after getting my food and the almond milk added to my coffee and I took a sip and I realize there’s not even sugar in it. I don’t even know what to say. This is the most simple drink I’ve ever seen somebody order. I used to work at a coffee shop and I don’t understand how I gave you another opportunity to fix this and you still mess up the easiest drink in the world. I had to stop at a gas station for sugar. I am very disappointed in the service especially for a regular iced coffee. In this photo, I emptied out most of the ice and this is what’s left of my drink. Would not...
Read moreEverytime I come here they hand me my donut in a tiny sleeve (the one that is clearly meant for bread or bacon). Because of this, the donut is impossible to get out, creates a HUGE mess, the icing sticks to the sleeve, no napkins, etc. by the time the donut comes out of the sleeve there is no icing left! (see photo). Giving this to people in the drive through to save a buck on actual bags is dangerous. I have to rip the sleeve thing apart when I’m driving and icing gets everywhere. It sticks to the bag and melts instantly. This happens numerous times and I’ve stained my car seat because of it. Not to mention not putting ANY napkins?! If I was getting this donut for a child in the drive through I’d be livid. Also, I’ve been here several times where they have straight up said “we don’t have any donuts today”. Isn’t this dunkin….donuts? please provide bags and napkins for your customers if you’re charging $2 for one melted donut.
However, I do want to add that they are usually very quick with the service, so quick that you can’t even get a hello or a have a nice day. Which I find very very rude, as someone who works in customer service. But I do appreciate the speed, so 3...
