Andersen's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Welaka

The location is great the views are amazing. We have been a few time and this last time we went I had brought my family. The bartender gave us out check after we ate and had a few drinks. She told us the checks that were stapled together we hers to keep. We looked at the top receipt it stated $51. The receipt under stated $34 for cash and $36 for card. We were confused and asking the bartender why we were charged $51 on the top receipt and its totally different on the bottom receipt. She got very offended and defensive she never asked to look at the receipt to see what we were talking about. She just started saying haven't y'all been to other places we're the have surcharges. Yes we have we completely understand the surcharge. But there is no way it went from $34 to $51 with surcharges on a debit card. The bartender then got so upset that she said I'll call her owner right now if y'all have a problem with it. Still never asking to see what we were talking about. She then supposedly got on the phone and took our receipt. After finally looking at the receipt she seen the mistake. She fixed it and for whatever reason as we were walking out she wants to state that she does have a degree. Well good I'm glad you do this was totally uncalled for and we will not be back. I will also be letting all of our friends and family who spend a lot of time in welaka know about this so they are aware if they do go to this bar. Hopefully no one else has to deal with this. Always check your receipts...

First and last time diner..only one waitress who also acted as bartender and bussed tables..one cook..waited 57 minutes for lukewarm temperature food with the order being incorrect and after another table arriving after us being served. I walked my dinner back to adjoining building where orders are prepared..the cook stated she could prepare my order again. ( I had ordered the fried cod sandwich and fries). After another wait I am brought a sandwich without the fries. I asked to speak to the owner..at this point my family had finished their own incorrectly prepared meals. I explained our meal issues, including burgers not prepared as ordered, temperature lukewarm to cold. The manager/ owner offered us a free beverage. My husband declined stating we just wanted to advise him of the excessive wait and mediocre food.. we were NOT looking for free food and iced teas ( which is what we were drinking) $30.00 later we left..I am very...

Was out exploring. 🙂 Views spectacular! Bartender was great, couple local customers were respectful and kind, as was their sweet beautiful dogs.

Had a drink and talked while waiting on food. A philly cheese steak with tater tots for the wifey and chicken tenders with a side of sweet chili sauce and fries for me. Found mine better than expected. Definitely would have again and I’m picky with chicken tenders. (Most times don’t like the breading) very much enjoyed the sweet chili sauce, wife kept dipping her tots into it and she did enjoy her sandwich. Ate it all so must have been good!
