We were visiting Escanaba and stayed for 3 days. We loved the Buck Inn Sports Bar & Grill so much we ate dinner there all 3 nights we were in town. All I can say is WOW! Bucks hit the spot in all ways. Great menu, food, service, and drinks. It was so wonderful we couldn't stay away. I was there on Military and Veterans night where all veteran meals are 50 percent off. I ordered the 14 oz. ribeye and it was fresh, perfectly cooked and very tasty! I mean delicious. I have had steaks at many high end establishments over the years and the ribeye is memorable. I can't wait to go back and have it again. The sides were delicious too. Great care is taken to provide a complete meaI. I had a side salad, baked potato and the meal was served with warm french bread and honey butter....just perfect. The other two nights I couldn't stay away from the broasted chicken wings with New Orleans rub. Craveable in every way, meaty and juicy. Do t miss this gem if you are...
Read moreVery busy waited about 30 minutes to get in, everyone was waiting out a big storm and had the same idea to get a bite to eat. The staff was polite and on top of all of the orders and refills even while the restaurant was packed to the brim. There were televisions everywhere with up to 8 games on one screen at a time. So, if youre looking for sports...this is your spot. The waitress mentioned over 30 beers on tap too. The food was priced higher than other places locally, and I am not sure the food really lived up to the hype. The junk basket had 2 mozarella sticks in the whole thing and more fries and onion ring chunks than anything else. Portions were decent. My grilled cheese cheeseburger was medium instead of well done, and I wasn't about to send it back and wait with a full restaurant. Everything else went well. I would definitely go back again to try other menu items and give a more well...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped by during a road trip around the lake. The atmosphere was nice, and quite crowded for lunch. Our server was very cheerful and enthusiastic.
I ordered the Mediterranean Greek Salad and my husband had the Grilled Chicken Caesar. Both were fresh and tasty, but had WAY too many toppings. The chicken was great, and the beets were an unusual bonus. I love pepperoncini, but there were at least 10, and so many Kalamata olives that I couldn't count. The amount of feta cheese was overwhelming. I would have loved more lettuce, and less cheese and olives. My husband's Caesar was also very heavy on the shredded parmesan, so most was left in his bowl. It's a big waste of money to add so many toppings. I suggest a lot more lettuce, and just a light sprinkle of toppings. The amount of chicken was perfect. Dressings were...
