Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Wells

Remodeled and condiments are now very difficult to obtain.

Food was cooked-from-frozen and over cooked to the point of destruction. Not just one occasion, but at least twice. Fish sandwich, onion rings? Hard to call either edible.

Then you cannot find condiments to cover up the overdone product.

Finally.. a television is permanently tuned to Faux News Very offensive to say the least, not only because it's not actually "news" but tabloid 'entertainment' and bias is not what I want when eating out. If people demand a fix for TV addiction, there are surely less offensive choices if one thinks for a minute. Why choose to upset people who chooses to think?

I now go to the Subway across the street. Healthy, fresh, and non-political, non-offensive. Much happier overall.

This Dairy Queen essentially hasn't changed since the early 90's. Employees do not have very much experience, are lazy and quite rude! Went here last week with the kids hoping to try the new Blizzard flavors for the Summer and knew ahead of time what I like and have ordered at other Dairy Queens, just to be told blatantly "I will not make that!" verbatim. Albert Lea's DQ makes whatever you ask for (if ingredients are available) to make what I like; Royal Drumstick Blizzard with Snickers as the filling, no questions asked but I cannot even get a twist cone in a cup @ Wells DQ!?!?

Black chunks in my root beer 5/1/2022 12:15 pm I asked if was mold they told me no it's normal when they change there pop has happened before cashier agreed they don't clean em enough that's why it probably had black chunks but she assured me it was not mold either way it's bacteria built up in fountain pop machine she told me she would take care of it she flushed it out with some root beer and went back to work definitely don't recommend this place just a bunch of kids working here had no clue what to do when I brought my chunky soda up...
