Las Catrinas Mexican Restaurant & Cantina — Restaurant in Wellsville

Super disappointed in our experience here. Went in with a group of six, which made for a total of 15 people in the restaurant. We were seated and placed our drink order quickly. It probably took about 10 minutes to get our waters. After ordering our food took about 20 minutes but they only brought four of our meals. We went ahead and started eating thinking they would be back with the other two meals but they never came. Our waitress was nowhere to be found. She came to check on us about 40 minutes after 4 of us got our food. It was about 10 minutes til close so I told her we never got two meals but we need to go so she can just remove those two meals and we will take the bill. She insisted she would “go check” on the food I again asked to just get the bill so we could leave. 5 minutes later she comes out with their two plates that you could tell had been sitting in the window the whole time. I again told her we do not want the food, we are ready for the bill. She said “okayyy then” disappeared for another 5 minutes, then brought out our check. I don’t think we will...

We took a ride on our bike one evening to Wellsville to visit a friend. He wasn't home so we decided to see what we could get to eat. We were very surprised about the being a new restaurant and it serves my favorite cuisine. This place has spectacular food. We were promptly seated and out waiter was very friendly. We enjoyed large margaritas while we waited for our fabulous food. I'm very picky when it comes to Mexican food from growing up in south Texas. This place is the real deal and not over priced! Highly recommend!!! Ok EDIT on my second time eating here at are lunch and it was $50 for 2 ladies to have lunch. No drinks! They charged me $5 for a side of guacamole a tablespoons worth. I fell like this was a ridiculous up charge. Next time I'll bring mine from home. Whole jar doesn't cost $5. Maybe I'll just stay home because I can't afford...

• updated review: had dinner last night. Seated promptly in the back by the kitchen. Employee had family seated behind us with an adorable toddler. Baby was quite loud and we moved to the opposite of the place. We could still hear the baby yelling. Not the best environment for a paying customer trying to enjoy dinner. We split the enchilada plate and the beef and cheese were excellent but a bit cold. The chicken had a heavy sauce which we did not care for. Rice and bean good, salsa very good.
