The Grove FarmHouse — Restaurant in Weslaco

I’m going to start off with the positives! This place is very spacious plenty of seating and parking. Very nice atmosphere . The food was delicious, tasted very fresh. Our waiter was very friendly, joked with us and all had a great attitude. Now the negatives but I hope the restaurant staff doesn’t take this the wrong way. I know this is a new place so of course there’s going to be room for improvement. We had to wait 45 mins - 1 hour for our food , which the hosts did let us know before we were seated. Not sure why it took that long for the food to be ready I can only assume it’s due to not enough kitchen staff just yet. Our waiter was not very knowledgeable , we asked a few questions about the menu and drinks and his response was “I don’t know” didn’t offer to find out for us, we had to ask him if he could please find out, which he did. But maybe be proactive and say “I don’t know, Let me ask.” No knives included with silverware, 2 people in my party ordered pancakes, no butter or syrup was brought out with the food we had to ask our waiter , my suggestion would be to include knives in silverware and bring out syrup and butter for orders that include pancakes. Lastly, I left the tip on my card and was charged $10 more than what my tab was including the tip. My suggestion to customers would be, pay cash. Sorry for the long review, I will definitely visit this place again but I’m going to wait a few months before I do. Hopefully the wait for the food won’t be that long. The atmosphere was so cozy and comfortable beautiful and bright restaurant the service was very good and she was so nice. The food really lacks flavor no seasoning but the pancakes were good 😊 I think with the right chef this restaurant will be very successful 🥰 oh and fresh squeezed orange juice was a plus edit they i ordered the chicken and waffle they gave me one chicken strip and the waitress said I’ll work on getting you a second one, I checked the menu and it came with three strips i asked for them to go this place was so...

Went for the first time with family (4total) for dinner, around 6pm. Restaurant wasn’t packed, so we were seated quickly in a booth. We ordered some mixed drinks which came out quickly and tasted great. I ordered the Grove burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty. My fiancé ordered the pot roast, which came as a large portion and everything was hot and delicious. Service was great with constant follow ups, and all our questions answered. I would come back to try the brunch next time....
