RUSTIC RANCH RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Weslaco

Have been coming for some time and I decided to come with my husband and daughter for lunch. Well we were ignored until the older lady stopped another waitress and said if she wants our table ( she could have asked her somewhere else not in front of us). But fine whatever, she looked over at us and didn't say anything just went to the outside patio to drop off drinks. When she came back she stopped and asked for our drink order but we were ready to order and put in the order. She didn't know that the kitchen was out of mash potatoes and that's what we had ordered with our plates. She has to know what they are out, so that the customers have the opportunity to get something else. After she took the order she never acknowledged us until the food came ( and that's because we weren't touching our food) she asked if everything was ok, I said yes but if we could have some forks, napkins and the other sides because they were out of mash potatoes and were waiting for the replacement ones. She then brought the stuff over and left the check. I mean she came over every few minutes asking if we could pay for the meal because she was going on break. Really no one else can get it. So we paid and then we had our son in law join us and he tried to get the older lady's attention and she just walked by twice the third time he said it louder than normal and she stopped and asked what we needed. He asked for a menu so that he could order, she just walked away and the other lady came to drop it off. After like 10 -15 minutes waiting for her to return we just left. Very disappointed with...

This is my new FAVORITE place to eat!!! I know they've been around a while, but I just discovered Ranch House Burgers about 2 months ago. Since then, I've eaten at both the Mission and Weslaco locations about 6-7 times (almost once a week). The food here is so good! I'm a huge chicken fried steak person, and there's no where in the valley you can get a chicken fried steak that is this delicious or this gigantic!!! My kids always get milk shakes, nachos, and burgers, which they love, while my husband always gets the fried shrimp plate. He loves it! We also finally tried the onion rings this past Friday, and they were some of the best I've ever had! The atmosphere with the live music is amazing. It's really hard to find places with live music during earlier dining hours (6:00ish-9:00ish). I recommend this place BIG TIME!!!! Everything is so great, including the service and prices! My entire family can eat here, including an appetizer, four entrees, wine, and milkshakes for the kids, for less than $50.

Horrible experience with the wait staff. Ordered a Coors Light (which I saw in the cooler while waiting to check in). Waitress came after about 8-10 minutes of waiting on patio. She took orders and came back within a few with a Miller Lite. I advised that was not the right beer and that they had Coors Light in the cooler. 20+ minutes later my food comes and the waitress finally comes out. No beer, no water (as requested). She says they don't have what I want, even though I know they do. Within a few minutes, she's back. With the beer I asked for 25+ minutes ago plus finally, a water. I get not understanding the difference but it should have been corrected way earlier. I would have spent some time hanging out in their patio (aka spending more $$), but honestly almost walked out considering I hadn't even been brought water. Plus, burger was just alright with barely any guac. Funny how single people get treated differently even though i tip Very generously if treated...
