I am willing to bet their specialty is FRIED (sea) food ... we got cheeseburgers, fries & onion rings. The fries weren't good, but the onion rings were good ... they were hot & delicious. HOWEVER, the three burgers & their buns – absolutely NOT A CHANCE! ⚠️ 1/10 It is tough when being completely honest about our (first, one‐time — LAST time) experience ... though I don't want to be THAT guy or be rude about it, it's going to seem that way ... I wonder, will my photographs also be removed? I see a lot of reviews where they are: ** I left 3 & 1 video.** ** If ya don't want to make it fresh, PLEASE don't put it on your menu ** First, the buns: When we took the top bun off the burgers to put our condiments atop, we noticed they were FIRM; Jokingly, I slapped mine against our table top, progressively hitting the bun harder on it ... not a chip nor a dent in either bun afterward ‐ totally intact. (I posted a clip of this in video) The burgers were ABSOLUTELY cooked much–earlier in the [God, I sincerely HOPE that it was] the same day! The meat was OLD, it was COOL, and 100% THE DRIEST burger I'd experienced in my lifetime of 48± yrs. We enjoyed some of our fries before they got cold — The onion rings as well. The outside critters — raccoons got our burgers that we tossed out into the woods, along w the buns of STEEL. No dinner, we completely wasted $68. $70 in the garbage!!! ~ In this economy!? ‐ NOPE! The atmosphere? 😆 Don't take MY word for it. Please, go see for yourselves! 💥 I SHOULD HAVE READ ALL OF THE REVIEWS FIRST!💥

Maybe not on a Saturday.,,, A huge order for five to ‘eat in’ became an order ‘to go’ when we were told the wait was 40 mins. We dropped the kids, toddler and baby at home and returned 5 mins before the suggested ready to go time, only to find we had to wait another half hour! By then the smell of not-so-fresh cooking oil permeated the boxes. When we got the food home, the order was messed up: no 1 large and 1 small haddock, just 2 small ones that were dry, and not fresh tasting. The chowder had little of substance. No coleslaw - it was part of our order but didn’t make the bag. A double instead of a single onion rings and a soggy lobster roll did, but were sad. The fries looked pale and tasted like they had been frozen and nuked. Such great reviews… What happened? I don’t know. But I won’t be back to find out. Over $180 by the way.

A friend recommended Schutty's Seafood Truck. Wow! What a tip! A long line had formed for lunch when I arrived. The white board menu is extensive! The staff was very helpful and friendly. I ordered the fried haddock sandwich ($11.95), it came on a soft brioche bun with lettuce, tomato & homemade tartar sauce and a side of homemade potato chips. I also ordered a side of homemade onion rings($7). Everything is fresh and made to order. The 6oz. haddock sandwich was delicious, flavorful and not greasy. The potato chips were hot and crispy. It is difficult to find quality homemade O-rings. Schutty's are some of the best I have ever had. Thin, crunchy with light breading, perfectly fried and again, not greasy. A fresh, filling, delicious lunch for under $20. This place is a must if you are in the Bath/Brunswick area. Highly recommend!!

Food wasn't terrible but it wasn't the best either.

The coating was coming off of the seafood 1/2 of the plate was oily so that probably contributed to it.

Not to mention the price that you pay is ridiculous. You don't get a roll you don't get any coleslaw.

I decided to order a large platter and I asked them what the difference was and they said oh nothing so what's the point of advertising a platter or a plate if they're the same thing?.

I asked for two types of seafood. What did I receive? A tiny container and a rather large container I thought Jeez this feels heavy. The smallest container feels light. That's got to be the fries. Well I was sadly mistaken it was the other way around. The heavy container was a bunch of greasy fries. The tiny container contained the seafood and wasn't much there.

You drive all the way to the coast. Imagine some people driving two or three hours away to get there You get a child size portion of seafood and an adult size portion of fries fit for Andre the Giant. That's a lot of potatoes to be filling yourself up with.

Now I understand it's a small trailer you know. But to wait 30 minutes if not longer for maybe five pieces of seafood times 2 that's kind of ridiculous My post usually generate good business for a several different businesses in the area. You would think that knowing this they would have said okay we're going to do you a solid we won't treat you like a Tourist that has a master black card in their pocket we could use to generate extra revenue and get some great publicity. So here you go but no, that didn't happen. Also the place isn't really on the water. Now there is nothing wrong with that. If it's a hidden gem is not very far to get to the water but still.

Now as far as the seafood goes the size of pieces of seafood seemed like they were okay. There was nothing wrong with that. It was what it was supposed to be and the seafood didn't seem old or anything.

But when someone eats out in Maine and goes to get seafood they don't expect to be paying almost $40 for french fries. Most people would throw half of the french fries out.

Apparently when you ask for a large size of a seafood plate that consists of the size of the french fry being larger and that's it. I actually ordered a platter but since there's apparently no difference it doesn't really matter.

If you're looking for value, save your money and move on. If you like paying for french fries or onion rings instead of seafood then maybe this is the...

I always thought the food was fantastic in past years every time I are here...this year I was really looking forward to the food here and was excited and surprised it was already open on May 8....the people waiting on me were nice and friendly..the service was prompt..the cole slaw was great...but the fries I couldn't eat..they were so soft and greasy..full of oil..no crispness at all...I was so disappointed..the haddock did not taste good..the batter was not too oily or greasy just the fish itself did not taste good..the batter was thicker than what I would like also..not a lot of fish...I'm so sorry I could not give a better review as in past years I couldn't say a bad thing about it..I don't know why it drastically changed but I feel I wasted $20 and could not eat the food...I was very hungry and so disappointed..I hope they see this and change something ..I...
