I did not have a good experience. I wasn't greeted or seated when I entered. Took forever for a waitress to come. Felt like I was being ignored the whole time. Everything looked good on the menu, I didn't know what to choose. For appetizers I tried something new, the Havana Cuban rolls. It was supposed to be ham, cheese, pickles fried in tortilla. I didn't like the taste. For main entree. Fajita quesadilla shrimp, it was like a omelette in a tortilla. I had a huge plate of rice, refried beans, salad. The fajita was hard to hold, it was overloaded with grilled peppers and onions, cheese, and cheese. I didn't like the chips and salsa either. Too bland. Salsa tasted more like chunky pizza sauce. The interior was beautiful, very comfortable. The bar looked amazing. I can't afford to drink or get drunk. 5/6/2022 I tried this place again. I tried the Fish Fry dinner. I read lots of raving reviews about the fish fry. The tortilla chips and salsa, chips were tasty, but the salsa was bland, not too exciting. I had a prickly pear margarita, it was refreshing, helped me enjoy the chips and salsa. The margarita gave me a freeze from my head to my tailbone. The fish fry was 5 big pieces of deep fried cod, beans, rice, and salad. I put the salsa on my rice and salad, used the tortilla chips to scoop it up. There was great Mexican music playing while I ate. It was a nice dinner in a beautiful setting but it wasn't the best fish fry ever.

This is one of my favorite local restaurants. Always a great experience 👍 I went there last weekend with my girlfriend for dinner. We walked in and greeted right awy. Not overly busy, but overall a consistent rush. Our waitress sat us down in a booth away from the busier part of the building (I appreciate that alot!) and got us our drinks right away. I ordered a "Burrito Suizo" as normal, and my girlfriend "Steak Fajitas". Typically that is what we normally order and as normal it was fantastic. It seems no matter what you get, it always comes with rice and a little salad with cut tomato’s, which is a nice addition. From the first to the last bite, it was incredible just like I remembered from previous experiences. Pricing is usually very good aswell. For what we all got, the bill was about $40. So for great food and a good environment, it’s a win-win. Our experience was great as normal and recommend it for anyone that wants a great "go-to" Mexican restaurant.

First time visitors, & will definitely be back again. Our 2 kids scarfed down almost every bite of their burger & taco meals. I really enjoyed the chips & salsa, & appreciated the refills on them. My chicken barachas were pretty good too. I think we had a new server, so we did wait a bit for silverware after our food had arrived, & for my margarita (got it mid-meal instead of before). It was pretty busy, & I'm sure she wa s overwhelmed by the dinner crowd which is understandable. The fried ice cream was incredibly good. We will definitely be back to try some more dishes.

Really, really snarky and terrible waitress. We went there on Fathers Day before going mini golfing. Ordered margaritas, my sister got their "special" cucumber one. Waitress brought them and left. When she came back my sister said - I don't think this is right, it doesn't taste like cucumber at all. Waitress says, it's right. My sister says well I don't agree, it tastes like a regular margarita. Waitress takes it and asks if she wants something else. My sister said she'll just take water. Awhile later the waitress comes back and says... "i charge you for drink"... My sister says, why? You took it from me and gave me water? She says "You order, you pay" and then proceeds to make faces at my sister and says "ya ya, you pay for it" ... it got a little ugly after that. I piped up and asked why she was being so rude? She took the margarita away when my sister said it was wrong, and got her water. IF they wanted to charge for it still, they should have left it there and said, sorry but you ordered it.... but it gets worse. I asked for the manager - surprise surprise there was no manager available until 4pm that day....but the host - a nice young man - came over and got involved. And I kid you not... the waitress yells at him and goes "yah you take table, have fun with this terrible table, especially those 2" (points and nods at us and kind of winks and smiles rudely). I was appalled. Mind you this was 2 families, my sister and I each had our 5 year olds with us and our husbands. Trust me, I can tell you when we've been rude, this wasn't on us. Even the young guy host seemed shocked at the waitresses behavior. After going around the debacle with him, he brought replacement drinks, brought our food out (which a lot was wrong)... and here's the kicker... the table next to us says... WOW! She was sooo terrible, and I'm sorry to tell you, but I ordered a regular margarita and I'm pretty sure I have your cucumber margarita"

We all had a good laugh at that. But man, we clearly won't be back. And any business that allows their staff to talk to ANYONE like that I hope fails. I have told everyone I know about the bad experience here and will...

I am sharing my second review because our experience the other night was beyond amazing. This message is for the owners N and L. It's Dana and Paul your regulars. Just wanted to give you a shout out and tell you that we had some new people there, Alexis was our waitress and she was phenomenal. That young lady was on top of her game, everything we asked for, she was fast, she was polite, she didn't forget a thing. In a tough economy what a gem you found in her. And then we meant Trenton your bartender and what another gem of a young man. Made us a great drink and we spent a good hour talking with him. Very personable, great bartender, friendly. It's so hard to find people like that and these two people are amazing. And then on top of that we met your new manager Luis and he was just about as friendly as they come. Came and greeted us at the table made sure our experience was good, thanked us, lots of smiles lots of good vibes. I think the only thing that put the cherry on top is whatever you guys did to your hard shell tacos. I know they're not out of a box, but they have never tasted as good as they did Tuesday night. They must have been deep fried because they had air pockets in them and they were so crunchy and delicious the most amazing hard shell tacos we have ever had. And you know that we're already fans of your food. So I just wanted to pass this on to you and hope to visit the grocery store soon. People if you haven't eaten here you are missing out on the best that West Bend has to offer in...
